Super73 Z Adventure Special Edition Electric Bike | Palladium
EN15194 Certified | 250W Pedal Assist to 25 km/h | 720Wh Battery | 56 to 72 km Range*
The Super73 Z Adventure SE is built for riders who want a Super73 that keeps going where the bitumen stops. It takes the Z frame and adds a front suspension fork, knobby GRZLY fat tyres, the larger 720Wh battery and an upgraded Adventure Series headlight, finished in the metallic Palladium Special Edition colourway. Gravel, fire trail, hardpack and beach tracks are all in scope, and it still rides home on the road legally afterwards.
The Australian Z Adventure SE runs a 250W rear hub motor with pedal assist limited to 25 km/h, certified to EN15194 and legal to ride on public roads and paths where bicycles are permitted. An 8-speed drivetrain gives you real gearing for climbs and loose surfaces, and hydraulic disc brakes handle the extra grip the knobby tyres generate.

Real-World Range
The Z Adventure SE is rated at 56 to 72 km per charge. Expect the upper figure on flat sealed ground in the lowest assist setting. Knobby tyres cost a little range on tarmac, and loose surfaces or climbing cost more, so plan conservatively for a genuine trail ride. Charging takes 7 to 8 hours from flat and the battery is removable for indoor charging.
What Is Different About the Australian Model
Super73's product photography shows US-spec bikes. Australian stock runs an 8-speed drivetrain and includes orange wheel reflectors to meet local road rules, and is configured to 250W pedal assist with no throttle fitted.
Australian Road Legality
As supplied, the Z Adventure SE is a 250W pedal-assist e-bike with a 25 km/h cut-off, certified to EN15194, so it is legal on public roads and bike paths where bicycles are permitted with no registration or licence. It is covered by NSW Fair Trading Certificate No. 29542 under UL2849:2022, issued to Ben Buckler Boards, and must only be used with approved Super73 batteries and chargers. Check your state's rules before riding, and whether e-bikes are permitted on a trail network before you head off road.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Super73 Z Adventure SE road legal in Australia?
Yes. It is a 250W pedal-assist e-bike limited to 25 km/h and certified to EN15194, so it can be ridden on public roads and bike paths where bicycles are permitted.
Does it come with a throttle?
No. Australian Super73 bikes are pedal assist only. The motor engages when you pedal.
Can it handle off-road riding?
Yes, within reason. Knobby GRZLY tyres and a front fork make it capable on gravel, fire trail, hardpack and sand. The rear is rigid, so it suits trails and rough surfaces rather than technical singletrack.
What height rider does it suit?
Super73 recommends riders from 155 cm to 203 cm, with a 79 cm seat height and a 147 kg rider weight limit.
Does it come with a horn?
Yes, a horn is fitted as standard, which meets the Australian road rule requiring a working warning device.
What warranty does it come with?
A 2-year manufacturer warranty covering electronic and mechanical components including the battery and motor, supported by Ben Buckler Boards. As an authorised dealer, Twelve Board Store handles warranty and servicing locally.
