Powell Peralta Sym Dragon Wheels | 58mm/93a
Ratbone II in 93a, tuned for rough streets.
This 58mm Dragon wheel uses Powell's Rat Bone II shape in 93a. It's for skaters who ride rough, cracked streets but still want a taller, faster wheel that works in the park.
The narrow, symmetrical Rat Bone II is 33mm wide with a 16.5mm contact width. Powell says DF-93A rolls over rough terrain yet grips and slides like a harder wheel, with an industry leading 18 to 20% higher rebound than hard wheels to hold speed in bowls.

About Powell Peralta
Powell Peralta was founded in 1978 by engineer George Powell and skater Stacy Peralta in Santa Barbara, California. Powell had already been baking his own urethane wheels and building his own boards since the mid 1970s, and in 1979 the pair formed the Bones Brigade, the team that included Ray "Bones" Rodriguez, Steve Caballero, Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Rodney Mullen, Tommy Guerrero and Mike Vallely.
Today Powell Peralta still puts a big focus on urethane research and its own wheel formulas. Dragon Formula covers street and park, while Soft Slide Formula (SSF) covers cruising, freeride and downhill. Riders pick Powell because the wheels last, roll fast and slide when you want them to, and because the brand has been part of skating for close to five decades.
FAQs
What are 93a Dragon wheels best for?
Mixed terrain. Dragon Formula rolls over rough ground you'd normally walk, then still grips and slides at the spot, so one set covers street, park and getting there.
What does 93a mean?
93a is the hardness on the A scale. It's softer than a 99a street wheel, so it smooths out cracks and rough ground, but Dragon Formula is designed to grip and slide like a harder wheel.
Will 58mm wheels fit my board or do I need risers?
58mm fits most popsicle decks on mid or high trucks. On low trucks or if you skate loose, add a 1/8" riser to stop wheel bite.
Do they come with bearings?
No. You get a set of 4 wheels with no bearings. Any standard 608 skateboard bearing fits, so you'll need a set of 8 (two per wheel), plus spacers if your bearings don't have them built in.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
