Onsra Replacement Motor | Direct Drive
A genuine Onsra direct drive motor, sold as a replacement for the older Onsra Black Carve. Motors take the worst of what riding throws at a board — water, grit, impacts and heat — and when one goes down you lose the board entirely rather than half its power. Spares for older boards get scarce fast, so if you are running a Black Carve you still love, this is how you keep it on the road.
Direct drive runs the motor straight to the wheel with no belts or pulleys in between. Quieter running, less to wear out, nothing to snap mid-ride. It is also a solid option for custom builders after a proven motor rather than a generic import, provided your setup matches on voltage and truck fitment.

Which board is this for?
It is the direct drive motor from the older Onsra Black Carve. If you are running one of those and have lost a motor, this is the part. Not sure which generation of Black Carve you own? Call us on 03 9421 2293 with your board details and we will confirm before you order.
Can I use this motor in a custom build?
Yes, if the setup matches. Your speed controller needs to suit the motor's voltage and current draw, the phase connectors need to match or be changed properly, and the motor has to mount to your truck hanger. Direct drive is not a universal bolt-on the way a belt motor mount is. If you are building something, call us on 03 9421 2293 before you order and we will work through it with you.

I've had my new Pint-S now for a week and put about 11 klms on it so far due to a fair bit of rain. The battery is now at 62% and top speed of 16kph as I find 12-15 very comfortable and have no intention of hurting myself any sooner than I have to.
The treaded tire gives more confidence for sure off of the pavement which I do about 50%.
I like the curved foot pads as I like a wide stance and my feet feel more planted than on the Pint. The Fender is also almost a must for me now that I see the difference of gravel and dirt not covering the footpads anymore.
Twelveboard store was very helpful and friendly with the purchase as well.
