Onsra Challenger 1.0 Replacement Battery
A genuine Onsra battery pack, sold as a direct replacement for the original Challenger and equally useful as a quality pack for a custom build. Every lithium battery loses capacity over time, and once your board is falling short of the range it had when new, a fresh pack brings it straight back.
Built for the original Challenger, not the Challenger Pro, so it drops into the original enclosure and works with your existing charger and electronics. For builders, it can also be wired into other setups running the same voltage, which makes it a solid option if you are after a properly made pack rather than a generic import.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fit the Challenger Pro?
No. As a drop-in replacement it suits the original Onsra Challenger only. The Challenger Pro uses a different pack and the two are not interchangeable in standard form. If you are not certain which version you own, call us on 03 9421 2293 with your board details and we will confirm before you order.
Can I use this in a board it wasn't made for?
Yes, if the numbers line up. Your speed controller has to run the same voltage as the pack, the connectors have to match or be changed properly, and the pack has to physically fit the enclosure. Get any of that wrong and you will damage the electronics or worse. If you are building something custom, call us on 03 9421 2293 before you order and we will talk it through with you.
How do I know my battery needs replacing?
The usual sign is range dropping well below what the board did when it was new, particularly a pack that reads full then falls away quickly under load. Longer charge times, the board cutting out under acceleration, or any visible swelling of the pack are all reasons to replace it. Swelling means stop riding and stop charging immediately.
Can I fit it myself?
As a straight swap into a Challenger, yes, provided you are comfortable working inside the enclosure. Battery work involves high-current connections and there is no margin for a mistake, so if you are not confident, bring the board into our Richmond workshop and our tech team will fit it and check the board over at the same time. For custom wiring, the workshop is the safer route.
What do I do with the old battery?
Do not put it in household waste or recycling. Lithium batteries are a fire risk in waste trucks and transfer stations. Bring the old pack in to us at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and we will dispose of it properly through the correct recycling stream, or drop it at a B-cycle collection point.

I've had my new Pint-S now for a week and put about 11 klms on it so far due to a fair bit of rain. The battery is now at 62% and top speed of 16kph as I find 12-15 very comfortable and have no intention of hurting myself any sooner than I have to.
The treaded tire gives more confidence for sure off of the pavement which I do about 50%.
I like the curved foot pads as I like a wide stance and my feet feel more planted than on the Pint. The Fender is also almost a must for me now that I see the difference of gravel and dirt not covering the footpads anymore.
Twelveboard store was very helpful and friendly with the purchase as well.
