Pint-S thoughts

I've had my new Pint-S now for a week and put about 11 klms on it so far due to a fair bit of rain. The battery is now at 62% and top speed of 16kph as I find 12-15 very comfortable and have no intention of hurting myself any sooner than I have to.
The treaded tire gives more confidence for sure off of the pavement which I do about 50%.
I like the curved foot pads as I like a wide stance and my feet feel more planted than on the Pint. The Fender is also almost a must for me now that I see the difference of gravel and dirt not covering the footpads anymore.
Twelveboard store was very helpful and friendly with the purchase as well.

Thanks for the gift card, not sure how to use it just yet!

Fits perfect on my Fatboy Scrambler, comes with mounting screws. Very happy

Burton step on bindings

These were great to use. Forget about ratchets and spend more time going down hill rather than down on your bum tightening your bindings.

great

had it as a mid layer this weekend and was very satisfied with it. even as a standalone vest

Travel ready Split /Resort binding

Easily modifiable to fit Alpine Prime bindings along with a Quiver Connector means I have a premium split/resort Straightline binding ready to rip on my travels

The EVA footbed can be modified to fit Alpine Prime bindings so now my Straightline bindings can be used with a Quiver Connector to only take one set of bindings with my resort and splitboard overseas.

Epic glove with super comfort

Great quality product. Liners are amazing. Recommend using beeswax on leather palm to keep it waterproof. Holds up in wet weather

Apres and Work - Good Boots

Been running the MTE boots for years lift ops and maintenance, better than Sorrels now that they've got a zip side!

Quality base layer

These Burton base layer pants are the best! Super comfy and a good fit.

Nice sized day pack for short trips and staying light. Can't wait to get up in the mountains to use it.

Omen Endangered Cruiser Complete Koala | 29"

A pocket-sized cruiser with an Aussie icon underfoot.

The Omen Endangered Koala is a 29" mini cruiser from Omen's Endangered Series, with a koala graphic on the base. It's small enough to carry anywhere, but still has a kicktail and a comfortable stance for cruising to school, the shops or the beach. It's a great fit for kids, teens and adults who want a compact grab-and-go board.

The deck is 7-ply maple and bamboo with a slight nose kick and kicktail, topped with clear 56-grit grip. Soft 62mm 78a Free Range wheels and Omen's black trucks give a smooth, grippy roll, and 1/4" risers keep the wheels clear when you lean into turns. The 16.25" wheelbase makes it quick and nimble, so it carves tight and dodges people on busy footpaths easily.

Key Features

  • Compact 29" cruiser: easy to carry, stash and take on public transport
  • 7-ply maple and bamboo deck: strong with a lively feel
  • Kicktail and slight nose kick: quick turns and easy kerb hops
  • Free Range 62mm 78a wheels: soft, smooth and grippy
  • Short 16.25" wheelbase: nimble and quick to turn
  • Clear 56-grit grip: natural bamboo look with solid traction
  • Fully assembled and gripped: ready to ride out of the box

About Omen Boards

Omen Boards comes out of Seattle, Washington. It grew from the Carbon Matrix, a carbon longboard built by a crew of local Seattle skaters including Nate Blackburn and Trevor Preston. The Matrix took off because it was a carbon board at a fair price, and within about a year the crew had moved into a garage in north Seattle and started building prototypes of the Pike. Early on, Omen pressed its own boards, screen printed its graphics in house and was backed by local skate shops.

Today Omen is best known for art-led longboards and cruisers: nature and animal graphics from artists like Tai Taeoalii and Jay Cronin, on bamboo and maple decks built as ready-to-ride completes. The range covers compact cruisers through to full-size drop-through longboards, and it's a popular pick for riders who want a board that looks as good as it rolls.

FAQs

What is the Omen Endangered Koala best for?
Short trips and easy cruising: school, the shops, the beach path or a lap of the neighbourhood. It's compact enough to carry everywhere and the soft wheels keep it smooth on rough ground.

Is a 29" cruiser the right size for me?
29" suits kids, teens and adults who want a compact, portable board, and riders with small to medium feet will feel most at home. Taller riders or bigger feet usually prefer more room, so look at the 33" Endangered cruisers. For long-distance cruising, a 38"+ longboard is more stable.

Is the Endangered Koala good for beginners?
Yes, especially for younger riders. It's light and easy to control, and the soft 78a wheels are forgiving on cracks. Adult beginners who want extra stability may find the 33" Endangered easier to learn on.

Cruiser vs skateboard: what's the difference?
A cruiser is made for rolling around, not tricks. The Koala runs soft 62mm 78a wheels that grip and smooth out rough footpaths, while a street skateboard uses small, hard wheels for flip tricks and ledges. The cruiser shape and kicktail make it easy to turn and get around.

Can I commute on the Endangered Koala?
Yes, for short commutes and last-mile trips, like from the train station to work or uni. It's easy to carry and the soft wheels handle normal footpaths well. For long daily commutes over rough ground, a longboard with bigger 70mm+ wheels will be more comfortable.

Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness suits you and go ride.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store

Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.

Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.

We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.

Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.

Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
