Omen Natural Industry Longboard | 41.5"
A full-size cruiser with nature front and centre.
The Omen Natural Industry is a 41.5" drop-through longboard with a natural-finish graphic by Tai Taeoalii. It's made for easy distance: pushing to work or uni, long cruises and relaxed carves. It suits teens and adults, especially taller riders and anyone after a stable first longboard.
It's built from a 9-ply bamboo and maple hybrid, stiff enough to feel calm at speed. A slight double drop and liberal radial concave keep your stance low and secure, and the symmetrical shape with slight double kicks means there's no wrong way round. Paris 50° reverse-kingpin trucks and soft Free Spirit 70mm 78a wheels keep it smooth over cracks and coarse bitumen.

About Omen Boards
Omen Boards comes out of Seattle, Washington. It grew from the Carbon Matrix, a carbon longboard built by a crew of local Seattle skaters including Nate Blackburn and Trevor Preston. The Matrix took off because it was a carbon board at a fair price, and within about a year the crew had moved into a garage in north Seattle and started building prototypes of the Pike. Early on, Omen pressed its own boards, screen printed its graphics in house and was backed by local skate shops.
Today Omen is best known for art-led longboards and cruisers: nature and animal graphics from artists like Tai Taeoalii and Jay Cronin, on bamboo and maple decks built as ready-to-ride completes. The range covers compact cruisers through to full-size drop-through longboards, and it's a popular pick for riders who want a board that looks as good as it rolls.
FAQs
What is the Omen Natural Industry best for?
Relaxed cruising, commuting and carving, with enough stability to try your first slides. The drop-through mount and slight double drop keep it low and stable, so it's easy to push and confident at speed.
Is a 41.5" longboard the right size for me?
41.5" is a full-size longboard that suits most teens and adults, and it's great for taller riders and bigger feet. The long 28.5" wheelbase and 9.5" deck give a roomy, stable stance. If you want something easier to carry and quicker to turn, look at a 33"–38" board instead.
Is the Natural Industry good for beginners?
Yes. Low ride height, a long wheelbase and soft 70mm wheels make it one of the easiest kinds of board to learn on. It's stable, easy to push and easy to foot-brake, and it still has room to grow into carving and sliding.
What's the difference between drop-through and top-mount?
On a drop-through like the Natural Industry, the trucks mount up through cut-outs in the deck, so the board sits lower to the ground. That makes pushing and foot-braking easier and gives more stability at speed. A top-mount sits higher with the trucks bolted underneath, which gives more leverage for sharp carving but needs more effort to push.
Can I commute on the Natural Industry?
Yes. It's a solid commuter: the low deck makes pushing easy over distance and the 70mm 78a wheels roll smoothly over cracks and rough footpaths. The only trade-off is size, as 41.5" is less convenient to carry on public transport than a cruiser.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness suits you and go ride.
