I absolutely love the bike and use it nearly everyday.
I’m 67 years old but it’s a bit like going back to having dirt bikes in the mid seventies! Also 12 boards was easy to deal with. A great shop.

Adding another to my collection, best layer for 1st or 2nd layer.

Nitro Team Pro MK TLS Men's Snowboard Boot | Black | 2026

Pro Model. No Compromises. 110% Freestyle.

Marcus Kleveland doesn't just endorse this boot — he designed it. The Norwegian X-Games champion and one of the most progressive freestyle riders on the planet worked with Nitro's engineers to build a boot that could handle the full range of what his riding demands: park laps and technical jib sessions at his local, then quad corks at the X-Games the following week. The result is the Team Pro MK TLS — a boot built for riders who want pro-calibre freestyle response without the punishment of a full competition stiff, delivered through a shell loaded with structural upgrades that the standard Team boot simply doesn't have. This is what Marcus rides. The Black colourway is clean, understated, and built for the conditions that don't care what your gear looks like.

The shell architecture of the Team Pro MK is the key separation point from the standard Team. An Armored Shell wraps the heel and lateral foot in an anatomically shaped, 3D-moulded internal plate — increasing heel fit precision, shell stiffness, and structural longevity without adding dead weight. The Shell Power Strap locks down the upper cuff for top-down response and power distribution. The Power Tongue Stiffener is the most rider-specific feature on the boot: a removable insert in the tongue that lets you dial between a stiffer, more precise freestyle setup when you need full lockdown, and a slightly more relaxed feel for cruising or all-mountain laps. Pull it out, ride differently. Put it back in, back to full response. The Speed Gaiter is a gusset construction with a one-handed diagonal zip that keeps moisture out while adding durability to the lace area. Internal Ankle Support gives an additional fit refinement option for narrower ankles or riders who want extra lateral control. Endure® Gravity Foam Toe Protection uses a TPU-based material that's up to 50% lighter than rubber at equal thickness, 100% recyclable, and maintains flexibility even in sub-zero conditions — protecting the highest-impact zone of the boot without compromising feel or weight.

The TLS Twin Lacing System runs two independent zones on Dyneema® low-abrasion laces, locking in precisely with a compact, lightweight mechanism proven across tens of thousands of days on the mountain. Bail Out system for rapid release. 45° Lacegliders at the ankle reduce lace friction for faster tightening and a smoother closure feel. The Cloud 9 liner is Nitro's most ergonomic liner design — Pre-Molded Thermacell for an out-of-the-box fit, fully heat-mouldable, with ILS Internal Lacing System connecting liner to shell via a Dyneema®-cored harness. Re/Lace Liner Locker lets you retighten the liner without loosening the outer shell. Air Dampening in the heel pocket absorbs the shock of hard landings with genuine effectiveness — the kind of cushioning that matters on flat-landed tricks and long days in the park. Therminator Shield between the sole and liner reflects body heat back to your foot. Ortholite® High Cup Dual Density footbed underneath provides zonal support and sustained cushioning throughout a full season. Vibram® ECOSTEP™ outsole with EVA midsole delivers proven grip underfoot.

Why Ride the Nitro Team Pro MK TLS?
TLS Twin Lacing + Bail Out — Two independent Dyneema® lace zones for zonal precision fit; Bail Out pull tab for rapid release at day's end; 45° Lacegliders reduce ankle friction for faster, smoother tightening
Power Tongue Stiffener (Removable) — Insert it for full freestyle lockdown and precision; pull it out for a more relaxed, all-mountain feel; tune your boot response to match your riding for the day
Shell Power Strap — Locks down the upper cuff for top-down power distribution and consistent response across every turn and landing
Armored Shell — Anatomically shaped 3D-moulded internal heel and lateral plate; increases heel fit precision, structural stiffness, and boot longevity
Internal Ankle Support — Optional additional lateral support for narrower ankles or riders wanting a tighter, more precise fit through the ankle zone
Speed Gaiter — Diagonal zip gusset construction; one-handed operation; keeps moisture and snow out while reinforcing the lace area against wear
Endure® Gravity Foam Toe Protection — TPU-based toe protection that's 50% lighter than rubber at equal thickness, 100% recyclable, and stays flexible in cold temperatures
Air Dampening — Nitro's heel pocket air suspension absorbs hard landings and flat-landing impact without compromising response or control
Therminator Shield — Reflective thermal layer between sole and liner reflects body heat to keep feet warm through long sessions
ILS Internal Lacing System — Dyneema®-cored harness locks liner firmly to shell, eliminating liner migration and heel lift throughout the day
Cloud 9 Liner — Pre-Molded Thermacell for out-of-the-box fit; heat-mouldable; Re/Lace Liner Locker for mid-day retightening; 3D Heel Construction, Latex Memory Pads, Flex Toe
Ortholite® High Cup Dual Density Footbed — Zonal cushioning and support; anti-microbial, moisture-wicking; compresses less than 5% for consistent performance all season
Vibram® ECOSTEP™ Outsole + EVA Midsole — Proven Vibram grip and cold-weather traction; up to 30% recycled rubber; EVA midsole for impact absorption and thermal insulation

Frequently Asked Questions

What size should I order?
The Nitro Team Pro MK TLS runs true to size — order your standard US shoe size. Nitro sizes in Mondopoint: US 9 = Mondo 270, US 10 = Mondo 280, and so on. Snowboard boots should feel snug straight out of the box — toes lightly grazing the front of the liner when standing upright, heel locked down with minimal lift. That's not too small, that's correct. When you bend into a riding stance, your heel drops, toes pull back slightly, and the boot wraps your foot properly. If you're between sizes, use the half sizes. Our full boot fit guide is at twelveboardstore.com.au/pages/snowboard-boots-how-to-choose-and-fit-guide, or call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll sort it in minutes.

Do you offer professional boot fitting and heat moulding?
Yes — and it's free when you buy your boots from us. Come into the store at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and our staff will fit you properly: measuring your foot, checking shell fit before the liner goes in, and heat moulding your Cloud 9 liner to your exact foot shape on the spot. With a boot this technical — multiple shell components, optional ankle support insert, adjustable tongue stiffener — it's worth getting that setup right in person. A moulded liner eliminates pressure points, locks in heel hold, and means the boot is dialled from run one. Not in Melbourne? We can walk you through the at-home process by phone or message.

What if I get the wrong size or the fit isn't right?
Reach out before you do anything else — call us on 03 9421 2293, message through the contact page, or email info@twelveboardstore.com.au. The Team Pro MK has enough fit adjustability (Power Tongue Stiffener, Internal Ankle Support, dual-zone TLS) that many apparent fit issues can be dialled without a return. If the boot genuinely isn't right for your foot, we'll swap it. Boots must be unworn outside — lodge floors and carpet only — and in original condition.

Is the Team Pro MK too stiff for all-mountain riding — or is it just for park?
The Team Pro MK is rated 8/10 Response with a 9/10 Comfort — and that comfort rating is what sets it apart from most boots at this response level. Marcus Kleveland's riding style spans from mini-shred local days to X-Games big air, which means he needed a boot that could handle technical park performance without beating him up on anything other than perfect landings. The result is a boot that is genuinely versatile: stiff enough for progression-focused park riding, responsive enough for carving groomers and charging all-mountain terrain, and comfortable enough to wear all day. The Power Tongue Stiffener is the key to flexibility — leave it in for maximum response on a dedicated park day, pull it out for a slightly more relaxed character on a mixed all-mountain day. At Buller or Falls Creek on a firm morning, this boot drives turns with real authority. In the park or on natural features, the Air Dampening and Cloud 9 liner make it as comfortable as anything at this performance level.

About Nitro
Nitro Snowboards was founded in 1990 by snowboarders, for snowboarders — headquartered in Hünenberg, Switzerland. Marcus Kleveland is one of the most decorated freestyle snowboarders of his generation, a multiple X-Games gold medallist and the first rider to land a quad cork 1800 in competition. His collaboration with Nitro on the Team Pro MK is a genuine design partnership — not a name on a colourway — producing a boot that reflects exactly what he needs to ride at the level he rides at. Nitro's commitment to sustainability runs through this boot: zero PVC, Endure® recyclable toe protection, Vibram ECOSTEP™ recycled-rubber outsole, and plastic-free packaging throughout.

About Snowboard Boots — Buying Guide

Snowboard boots are the most important part of your setup. They connect you to your board, affect your control, comfort, warmth and how much energy you burn across a full day on the hill. Getting the fit right is everything — a boot that fits correctly makes riding easier from your first run. A boot that doesn't will ruin your day regardless of how good the board underneath it is. At Twelve Board Store we fit hundreds of riders every season across brands including Vans, Burton, K2, Ride, ThirtyTwo and DC. Every boot in our range has been ridden and assessed by our team. We only stock boots we'd recommend to our own crew.

Getting your size right online: Measure your foot in centimetres while standing with full weight — this is your Mondo size, the most accurate way to find your boot size. Snowboard boots use US sizing. 25cm = US7, 26cm = US8, 27cm = US9, 28cm = US10, 29cm = US11, 30cm = US12. Boots should feel snug straight out of the box — toes grazing the end when standing, lifting slightly when knees bend forward. A boot that feels comfortable in your lounge room is too big for the mountain.

Volume matters as much as length: Low volume boots suit narrow, low-arch feet. High volume suits wide feet or high arches. Getting volume wrong causes pressure and pain regardless of length. If you're between sizes or have a wide foot, contact us before you buy — we'll point you to the right boot.

Flex rating: Soft (1–4) for beginners, park riders and those who want a surfy, forgiving feel. Medium (5–7) for all-mountain versatility. Stiff (8–10) for aggressive freeride, carving and riders who want direct response and maximum support.

Closure systems: Traditional lace is still the most popular — micro-adjustable, direct feel, lower price point. BOA® dial gives you one-hand precision tightening with gloves on, fast on/off between runs. Hybrid BOA combines lace at the foot with a dial at the instep for zone-by-zone control. Speed lace is faster than traditional lace and lighter than BOA.

Wrong size? We'll swap it. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 or chat online — our team will give you a straight answer based on your foot shape, riding style and where you're planning to ride. If you're in Melbourne, come in and try them on at 435A Bridge Road Richmond. We heat mould liners in-store — no appointment needed.
