The Pro-X2 Youth is G-Form's low-profile knee pad for kids, built for skateboarding, scooters, BMX and mountain biking. It slides on like a sleeve and sits close to the leg, so kids can ride all day without bulky pads slowing them down.

Body-mapped RPT pads stay soft and flexible while you ride and stiffen on impact to absorb the hit. A two-panel UPF 50 compression sleeve with silicone grippers at the top and bottom keeps it in place, and ventilation channels help with airflow. It's machine washable and comes as a pair.

Size Guide

G-Form sizes its youth knee pads on two measurements. With the leg straight, measure around the leg about 3–5cm above the knee. Then sit with your foot flat and your knee at 90 degrees, and measure the widest part of the calf.

This chart is G-Form's current youth knee sizing (Pro-X3 Youth, same S/M and L/XL split); G-Form doesn't publish a separate Pro-X2 Youth chart that we could find. The sleeve should feel snug like compression gear, with the pad centred over the kneecap. If it slides down when your kid crouches, try the smaller size.

Measure around the leg 3–5cm above the knee with the leg straight. Youth S/M fits 25.5–30.5cm and Youth L/XL fits 30.5–35.5cm. Check the calf too, and pick the size where the sleeve feels snug without pinching.

Hard cap or soft pad: which is better for kids?
Soft pads like the Pro-X2 suit cruising, scooters, street skating and bikes, where comfort and freedom of movement matter. For ramps and bowls where kids knee slide, a hard cap pad is the better choice.
