This is the 26/27 Flux DS in Pink, stocked in XS and S for smaller and women's boot sizes. It is Flux's soft, playful freestyle binding at flex level 4, with a new lighter Glass Reinforced Flexlite Grade baseplate this season.

It is a great pick if you want a binding that is easy to ride, quick to spin and forgiving on landings, but still holds an edge on the groomer home. And yes, the Beer Buckle opens a drink at the end of the day.

The Tech and What It Does on the Hill

✅ Resistor Highback in Super Tough Nylon: resists movement to the outside of your stance but lets you move freely to the inside, so you get support on landings and freedom for tweaks
✅ Super Ultima Baseplate in Glass Reinforced Flexlite Grade: a new lightweight, springy material for quicker movement. Flux says the M is 58g lighter than before
✅ Cushion Stabilizer: a large stabiliser that turns flex into rebound and passes power to the board firmly but gently
✅ Flexible Disk: a rotary disk that adds flex underfoot for style and manoeuvrability on rails and butters
✅ Cloud Strap with Beer Buckle: foam-cushioned ankle strap that is comfy all day but firm in a turn, cranked by ratchets with a bottle opener built in
✅ F.T.M. Duo toe strap: moulded from a single material for grip and a clean fit on any boot
✅ FootOn: snow-shedding footbed that keeps the board feel direct with a bit of cushion
✅ Micro Adjuster, 5-Hole Highback Rotation and Toolless Lever: roughly 2.5 degrees per notch, rotate to your stance, no tools needed
✅ Adjustable Toe & Heel Cushion and Flat Bottom: tune the fit to boot and board, with a flat underside that protects your topsheet

Built for Australian Conditions

Australian park crews ride a lot of rails, boxes and slushy spring jumps. A level 4 binding with a Flexible Disk lets you press and butter without fighting your gear, and the Cushion Stabilizer takes the sting out of flat landings on firm mornings at Perisher, Thredbo or Buller.

Setup Tips from the Shop

Run a little less forward lean than you would on a freeride binding, one or two Micro Adjuster notches, so you can flex into presses. Centre your boot over the board with the Adjustable Toe & Heel Cushions and set the Cloud Strap so it wraps evenly without crushing your instep. We will set it up for free when you buy in store.
