X/DMG X01 Double Knee Work Pant | Washed Stone

Sick work pants, keen to get another pair

Size up. Awesome product well made

Pint-S thoughts

I've had my new Pint-S now for a week and put about 11 klms on it so far due to a fair bit of rain. The battery is now at 62% and top speed of 16kph as I find 12-15 very comfortable and have no intention of hurting myself any sooner than I have to.
The treaded tire gives more confidence for sure off of the pavement which I do about 50%.
I like the curved foot pads as I like a wide stance and my feet feel more planted than on the Pint. The Fender is also almost a must for me now that I see the difference of gravel and dirt not covering the footpads anymore.
Twelveboard store was very helpful and friendly with the purchase as well.

Flight Risk

Thanks for the gift card, not sure how to use it just yet!

Fits perfect on my Fatboy Scrambler, comes with mounting screws. Very happy

Burton step on bindings

These were great to use. Forget about ratchets and spend more time going down hill rather than down on your bum tightening your bindings.

The boots are great, super comfortable and best of all they have kept my foot warm in the snow.

Shout out to the team at the Twelve Board Store for being super helpful when i went in to pick the boots up

great

had it as a mid layer this weekend and was very satisfied with it. even as a standalone vest

Travel ready Split /Resort binding

Easily modifiable to fit Alpine Prime bindings along with a Quiver Connector means I have a premium split/resort Straightline binding ready to rip on my travels

The EVA footbed can be modified to fit Alpine Prime bindings so now my Straightline bindings can be used with a Quiver Connector to only take one set of bindings with my resort and splitboard overseas.

Epic glove with super comfort

Great quality product. Liners are amazing. Recommend using beeswax on leather palm to keep it waterproof. Holds up in wet weather

Apres and Work - Good Boots

Been running the MTE boots for years lift ops and maintenance, better than Sorrels now that they've got a zip side!

Quality base layer

These Burton base layer pants are the best! Super comfy and a good fit.

Nice sized day pack for short trips and staying light. Can't wait to get up in the mountains to use it.

Excellent! Good people!

Fat boy from 12 Boards

I absolutely love the bike and use it nearly everyday.
I’m 67 years old but it’s a bit like going back to having dirt bikes in the mid seventies! Also 12 boards was easy to deal with. A great shop.

Adding another to my collection, best layer for 1st or 2nd layer.

BCA Float™ E2-25 Avalanche Airbag Pack

The Smart Choice for Backcountry and Sidecountry Riders Who Take Avalanche Safety Seriously.

PRE-ORDER — 15% OFF
Pre-order price on the BCA Float E2. Orders close Wednesday 23rd September 2026. Delivery November 2026.

The BCA Float™ E2-25 is the mid-volume sweet spot in BCA's airbag lineup — 25 litres of carry capacity in a low-profile, lightweight package purpose-built for backcountry and sidecountry skiing and snowboarding. Enough space for a full day out: beacon, probe, shovel, layers, food, water, and first aid. Low enough profile for heli skiing, guided sidecountry laps, and lift-accessed freeriding where pack bulk matters. At its core is the Alpride E2 supercapacitor system — 40% smaller and 11% lighter than the previous E1 — the most technically advanced avalanche airbag trigger system on the market. TSA-approved for airline travel. Three-year warranty.

The Alpride E2 supercapacitor is what makes the Float E2 fundamentally different from compressed air airbag systems. Where compressed air canisters store energy as pressurised gas — subject to temperature sensitivity, volume restrictions, and the logistical problem of refilling after a deployment — the E2 uses a supercapacitor: a device that stores electrical energy through magnetic charge rather than chemical reaction. The practical advantages are significant. Supercapacitors maintain performance in extreme cold, where compressed air systems can suffer pressure loss and slower deployment. They're classified as capacitors under IATA and DOT regulations, meaning the E2 system is not subject to the dangerous goods restrictions that govern compressed gas canisters — you fly with it like any other electronic device. After deployment, you recharge the system via USB rather than sourcing a refill station. Two AA batteries can be installed alongside the supercapacitor for additional deployments in the field: alkaline batteries add one deployment and maintain charge for up to three months; lithium batteries add three deployments and maintain charge for up to five months. Once triggered, the 162-litre airbag deploys around your head and shoulders, creating buoyancy to help you stay at or near the snow surface during an avalanche — reducing burial depth and protecting your head and neck from trauma.

The pack itself is built around how backcountry riders actually move. The Side Stash pocket is an external zippered compartment on the side of the pack — large enough for a water bottle, a layer, or a set of skins — accessible without removing the pack or opening the main compartment. In avalanche terrain, removing your pack to reach your water bottle means stopping in a potentially exposed location; the Side Stash eliminates that. The Back Stash zip is a second external access point on the back panel, designed for your BCA BC Link radio, a GPS device, or small accessories you need at hand. The dedicated rescue tools compartment is a separate zippered section with fast, unambiguous access to your shovel and probe — the tools you need in the first seconds after an avalanche. No digging through a full pack while someone is buried. The curved side access zipper allows you to reach the main compartment from the side without fully opening the pack — useful on the skin track or at a rest stop when you don't want to unpack everything to find something at the bottom.

The moulded "cooling fin" back panel is a structured foam panel with vertical channel cutouts — it holds the pack away from your back slightly, allowing airflow during high-output skinning and uphill effort while maintaining contact and stability. The frame sheet inside the back panel transfers load to the hip belt effectively, keeping weight centred even with a full load. Shoulder straps are dual-zippered and modular — removeable and replaceable if damaged, and adjustable for torso length (S/M fits 38–46cm torso, M/L fits 43–53cm). Hip belt pockets provide quick-access storage. Load lifters on the shoulder straps let you dial the weight distribution. Diagonal ski carry and vertical snowboard carry are both included. The pack is BCA BC Link radio compatible with a dedicated routing system for the antenna. Waterproof-coated 420d ripstop nylon exterior with DWR-coated YKK zippers keeps your gear dry regardless of conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose between S/M and M/L?
Torso length — not height or weight — determines the right size. To measure: stand upright, find the bony bump at the base of your neck (C7 vertebra), and measure down to the top of your hip bone (iliac crest). S/M fits 38–46cm / 15–18"; M/L fits 43–53cm / 17–21". There's overlap in the 43–46cm range — if you fall there, consider your build and how you like packs to fit. A correctly sized pack transfers load to the hips properly and keeps the airbag trigger handle positioned where you can reach it quickly. If you need help measuring or aren't sure which size to order, call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll sort it out.

Can I take this on a plane?
Yes — the Alpride E2 supercapacitor is classified as a capacitor with energy storage of 10Wh or less under IATA and US DOT regulations, meaning it is not subject to the dangerous goods restrictions that apply to compressed gas airbag canisters. BCA recommends downloading and carrying the Alpride E2 fact sheet when travelling. No special declaration or removal is required beyond normal carry-on or checked luggage procedures.

What happens after the airbag deploys — how do I reset it?
After deployment, you deflate the airbag by opening the valve, fold it back into the pack, reconnect it, and recharge the E2 system via the included USB cable. No refill station, no compressed gas canister sourcing. The recharge process typically takes a few hours from a standard USB power source. If you have AA batteries installed, they allow additional deployments in the field without recharging — lithium AAs allow up to three additional deployments.

Does an airbag guarantee survival in an avalanche?
No — and BCA is explicit about this. The Float airbag system increases your chances of staying near the surface of an avalanche, reducing burial depth and protecting your head and neck from trauma. It does not guarantee survival. The most important avalanche safety measures are education, sound decision-making in the field, and carrying and knowing how to use a beacon, probe, and shovel. An airbag is a last-resort safety layer — not a replacement for terrain awareness and risk management. We strongly recommend completing an AST (Avalanche Safety Training) course before venturing into avalanche terrain.

Is the E2-25 the right size, or should I look at the E2-15 or E2-35?
The E2-25 is BCA's most versatile size — enough capacity for a full backcountry day without being bulky enough to slow you down on lift-accessed sidecountry or heli objectives. The E2-15 is the right call if you're primarily doing short sidecountry laps and want the smallest, lightest possible pack. The E2-35 adds an A-frame ski carry, compression straps, and more capacity for longer objectives with heavier loads. If you're doing a mix of day tours, heli trips, and sidecountry access, the E2-25 is the right call. Call us on 03 9421 2293 and we'll help you choose.

BCA Float E2 Avalanche Airbag

The BCA Float E2 avalanche airbag packs are among the most anticipated backcountry releases of the season — and stock into Australia is strictly limited. We are taking preorders now on the Float E2-25, E2-35 and E2-45 at a special preorder price. Secure yours before the allocation is gone.

Why the Float E2?

At the heart of every BCA Float E2 pack is the Alpride E2 supercapacitor system — a fundamental shift from gas canister airbag technology. Where gas canisters deplete permanently on deployment and face airline restrictions, the E2 supercapacitor charges via USB-C, is TSA-approved for airline travel, deploys the 162-litre dual-lobe airbag in under three seconds, and re-arms in seconds for multiple deployments on a single charge. Two AA backup batteries allow additional deployments in the field if needed. The E2 engine is 40% smaller and lighter than the previous Alpride E1 system — a meaningfully better pack to carry all day.

Which pack is right for you?

The Float E2-25 is the sweet spot for most backcountry snowboarders and ski tourers — a low-profile 25L pack with Side Stash pocket, Back Stash zip, hip belt pocket, dedicated safety tools pocket and cooling fin back panel. Enough room for a full day without unnecessary bulk.

The Float E2-35 adds internal shovel and probe carry and extended capacity for riders who need more — splitboarders, snowmobilers, and anyone doing longer tours where gear requirements are higher.

The Float E2-45 is the burliest pack in the E2 lineup — maximum capacity for guides, backcountry professionals and multi-day missions. Everything in the E2-35 plus extended overnight capacity and additional carry options.

All three packs share the same Alpride E2 supercapacitor engine, 162-litre dual-lobe airbag, waterproof coated ripstop nylon shell, curved side access zip, removable ski and snowboard compression straps, and dedicated safety tools pocket.

Important: Float avalanche airbags do not guarantee survival in an avalanche. An airbag is one part of a complete safety system — not a substitute for avalanche education, conservative terrain decisions, or beacon, probe and shovel competency. Always carry the full rescue kit and ride with a partner who can perform a rescue.

Twelve Board Store is an authorised BCA dealer. Every preorder is backed by our full after-sales support. Questions before you commit? Call us on 03 9421 2293 or contact us online — we'll give you a straight answer on which pack suits your riding.
