Frequently Asked Questions
Reverse-kingpin longboard trucks built for carving, cruising, freeride and downhill. The Caliber II is a benchmark, rated for a smooth predictable turn, stability at speed, tough construction and excellent value.
Match width roughly to your deck. Caliber comes in 158mm and 184mm, with narrower turning sharper and wider being more stable. Tell us your deck and riding style and we will match the right width.
Caliber offers different angles, commonly 44 and 50 degrees. A higher angle (50) turns more and suits carving and cruising; a lower angle (44) is more stable and suits faster freeride and downhill.
Both are quality RKP trucks and it comes down to feel. Caliber leans slightly more responsive and turny with strong value; Paris has a smooth, planted classic feel. Both carve well, so tell us how you ride and we will match you.
Swap the bushings: softer for easier carving, firmer for stability at speed. The baseplate angle also changes it. If the turn feels off after adjusting the kingpin nut, new bushings are the easy fix.
