The 2027 Rome AW Katana FASE Women's snowboard binding in Deep Red is Rome's fast-entry-optimised take on the legendary Women's Katana. Rome scaled it to fit a wide range of women's boot sizes and built it on the surfy yet responsive AsymWrap platform. It's light on weight, heavy on all-mountain comfort, and gets you strapped in without sitting down.

Deep Red brings a rich, bold colour to your setup. Underneath is a 6–8 flex range you can tune from playful to precise, plus fully adjustable baseplates and PivotMount FASE® to dial the binding to your riding style.

What Is FASE®?

FASE® stands for Fast Entry System. It's a true two-strap binding with faster entry built in:

• Folding highback that closes automatically. Fold it flat for skating, chairlifts and storage. Step in, engage the toe strap, and the highback closes around your boot.
• Locked-in toe strap. It stays in your set position between runs.
• FastStrap ankle strap. Buckle down and go.

Getting out is simple: unbuckle the ankle strap like any two-strap binding, bend your knee slightly, lift your heel and step out.

Note: during the 2026/27 production run, Rome updated the Katana FASE highback to a new solid-state design, so some units carry the new highback. Rome says both versions are fully engineered and ready to ride.

Sizes marked * are Rome's boot-dependent range: whether they fit depends on your boot's brand and style, and Rome says it's safest to size up. Size off your snowboard boot, not your street shoe. S fits US women's 6.5–8.5 and M/L fits 9–11.5. At the top of each size (9–9.5 on S, 12–12.5 on M/L) the fit depends on your boot's brand and style, and Rome says it's safest to size up. The safest bet is to check your boots on the binding.

Will it fit my board?

Yes. It mounts to 2x4, 4x4 and Channel boards.
