The FR333 is Flightrisk's step-through fat-tyre e-bike — designed for riders who want easy on/off access without giving up any of the performance. Same Bafang motor, same 52V 25Ah Samsung battery, same TEKTRO hydraulic brakes as the full-frame FR555, wrapped in a pass-through frame that's easier to mount, especially in urban stop-start riding or when carrying bags and gear.
Dual suspension front and rear smooths out Melbourne's mix of cobblestones, tram tracks, and potholed backstreets. The 20×4" Vee Rubber Huntsman fat tyres give the bike a stable, planted feel across wet roads and gravel alike. Like all Series II Flightrisk bikes, it ships with built-in GPS tracking, geofencing, integrated front and rear LED indicators, and full app-controlled power management via the FR Escape App. Max load is 180kg — enough for two-up riding or serious cargo.

FR333 vs FR555 — Which One?
Both bikes share the same motor, battery, brakes, tyres, and electronics. The difference is the frame. The FR333 has a step-through frame — lower standover height, easier to mount from a standstill, and more comfortable for riders who want to get on and off quickly. The FR555 has a full-frame design — more rigid, more classic muscle-bike stance, and slightly heavier. If you're taller, ride more aggressively, or prefer the full-frame look, go the FR555. Real-World Range
Up to 100km in PAS 1–2 on flat ground. In mixed Melbourne riding — hills, traffic, throttle bursts — expect 60–80km. Under heavy throttle or with a passenger, 30–40km is realistic. Range varies with rider weight, terrain, wind, tyre pressure, and temperature.
EPAC Compliance (Australia)
In 250W pedal-assist mode up to 25km/h, the FR333 meets Australian EPAC standards for on-road use. The 500W and off-road modes via the FR Escape App are for private property and off-road use only — check your state regulations before riding in unlocked modes on public roads.
