Disorder Nyjah Huston Life of Pain Skateboard Deck | 8.0"
Nyjah's Own Mould. Now Public.
This is the one worth paying attention to. The 8.0" and 8.125" Life of Pain decks run Nyjah Huston's exclusive mould — the shape he had built for himself and which had never been released to the public before this series. Nyjah skates the 8.125"; the 8.0" is the same mould, an eighth narrower. If you've ever wondered what the most decorated street skater in the world actually stands on, this is it, not an approximation of it.
The Life of Pain graphic isn't ironic. Nyjah has spent two decades throwing himself down handrails that would end most careers, and has the injury list to prove it. The name is a straightforward acknowledgement of what skating at that level costs. It's applied as a heat transfer, which gives sharper detail and gradients than screen printing can manage.
Construction is premium 7-ply North American maple, shaped and pressed by PS Stix — one of the most respected board factories in the United States — with medium concave. Enough shape to lock your feet in for flip tricks, mellow enough that you're not fatigued by the end of a long session. At 8.0" x 31.75" with a 14.25" wheelbase, a 7" nose and a 6.375" tail, it's the most-ridden width in skateboarding and the natural default for technical street.
Every deck ships with a randomly selected top veneer colour, so the wood on top of yours will differ from the photo and from the next one off the rack.
Why Ride the Disorder Life of Pain?
• Nyjah's Exclusive Mould
The 8.0" and 8.125" run the shape Nyjah had built for himself, never previously available to the public. Nyjah rides the 8.125"; this is the same mould at 8.0".
• Nyjah Huston Pro Model
A signature board from the company founder — multiple X Games golds, Street League titles and an Olympic medal.
• Pressed by PS Stix
Made in the USA by one of the most respected skateboard factories in the world.
• Premium 7-Ply North American Maple
Proven construction with proper pop and a consistent feel. No composite layers you're paying extra for.
• Heat Transfer Graphic
Sharper detail and gradients than a screen print can reproduce, with essentially no added weight.
• 8.0" Width
The most popular width in skateboarding. Quick to flip, responsive underfoot, and the best all-round choice for street and park.
• 7" Nose / 6.375" Tail
A slightly longer nose than tail, which favours nollie and switch tricks alongside regular skating.
• Random Top Veneer
Each board gets a randomly selected top ply colour, so no two are the same.
• Free Jessup Grip
Every deck we sell comes with free Jessup griptape — the industry standard for consistent grit and reliable adhesion.

What width is right for me?
As a general guide: 7.5"–7.875" suits smaller riders or those focused on technical street skating. 8.0"–8.25" is the most popular all-round street and park size. 8.25"–8.5" suits riders who prefer a slightly bigger platform for stability. 8.5" and above works well for transition, bowls, and larger riders. Shoe size plays a role too — bigger feet generally prefer wider decks. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 or come into the Richmond store and we'll sort it out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What makes this mould different from the rest of the Disorder range?
A: The 8.0" and 8.125" Life of Pain decks use a mould Nyjah developed for his own boards, which Disorder hadn't previously sold. The wider sizes in the range run the standard Disorder shape. If you specifically want the board Nyjah skates, it's the 8.125"; the 8.0" is the same mould in a narrower width for riders who prefer a slightly quicker board. Note the difference is the mould, not just the size — an 8.25" Life of Pain is a different shape, not just a wider one.
Q: Will my deck look exactly like the photo?
A: The bottom graphic will, but the top veneer won't. Disorder runs randomly selected top ply colours, so the wood colour on top of your deck will differ from the product photo and from other decks in the same run. It's deliberate, not a fault.

Let customers speak for us
Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
