Deca Dex Complete Orange | 7.6"
Orange flames, a grinning hooded character and a mid size made for growing kids.
The Deca Dex Complete in Orange at 7.6" is a kids' mid complete featuring the Dex character, a cheeky grin inside a red horned hood, set against orange flame artwork. It's a proper skateboard, not a toy, so young skaters can learn to push, carve and pop their first ollies on gear that behaves like the real thing.
At 7.6" wide, the Dex sits in the mid range, the size older kids and young teens move to once they outgrow a mini. Raw aluminium trucks with soft bushings turn easily under lighter riders, and 52mm wheels on ABEC 3 bearings roll smoothly on footpaths, driveways and skatepark concrete. About Deca
Daewon Song launched Deca in 1999, shortly after leaving World Industries. He built the early team around Chris Haslam, JB Gillet and Marcus McBride, and the crew's two videos, Sneak Preview and 2nd to None, put Daewon's inventive, technical skating front and centre.
Today Deca concentrates on kids' completes: colourful, character-driven boards in grom-friendly sizes, built with genuine skateboard parts so young riders learn on equipment that actually works.
FAQs
Who is a 7.6" skateboard best for?
A 7.6" deck is a mid size. It suits older kids and young teens, roughly 9 to 13, as well as smaller adults who like a light, nimble board. Younger kids around 6 to 9 are usually better on a mini (7.25" and under), while teens and adults with bigger feet typically ride a full size of 8.0" and up.
Is this a good skateboard for beginners?
Yes. The Dex is built for learning, with soft bushings that make turning easy and real skateboard components throughout. That's a big step up from toy-store boards, whose cheaper parts make balance and turning much harder to learn.
What can I ride this skateboard for?
Learning to push, turn and balance, cruising around the neighbourhood and first sessions at the local skatepark. The mid size gives growing riders enough room to start learning ollies and basic tricks.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness to suit the rider and go skate.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
