Built for the coldest, stormiest days of the season, the Burton Reserve Insulated GORE-TEX 2L Men's Jacket 2027 in Gray Cloud pairs Burton's top-of-the-line insulated GORE-TEX 2-layer construction with low-profile 80g ThermacoreEco synthetic insulation throughout. The GORE-TEX 2L shell is waterproof, windproof, breathable and GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™, and the insulation seals in heat without bulking you up. Gray Cloud is a light, neutral grey that works with any pant or bib.

The rider-designed details are all there. Mesh-lined Pit Zip™ vents release heat on bluebird afternoons, and the helmet-compatible Fulltime Contour™ hood with front and rear adjustment handles the storms. A stretch powder skirt with Hypalon jacket-to-pant snaps, fully taped seams and YKK® water-resistant zippers seal out the snow, and a forearm pass pocket, goggle pocket and Therma-Pocket keep your essentials sorted.

How warm is the Burton Reserve Insulated Jacket?
It's warm enough to wear on its own on most cold resort days. Burton rates its warmth at 2.15/5, with 80g ThermacoreEco synthetic insulation throughout the jacket, and gives both waterproofing and breathability the maximum 5/5. A base layer is enough for most days. Add a light mid layer when it's bitterly cold, and open the pit zips when the sun comes out.

What's the difference between the Reserve Insulated and the [ak] Swash Synthetic Insulated Jacket?
The Reserve Insulated puts 80g ThermacoreEco insulation throughout the jacket, for all-over warmth with mesh-lined pit zips and a big pocket setup. The [ak] Swash Synthetic uses 60g PrimaLoft® Silver body-mapped to the chest and kidneys only, leaving the arms free, and adds [ak] features like Crossflow Venting™, a RECCO® reflector and a sleeve pocket with a scraper. Choose the Reserve for warm, no-fuss resort days, and the Swash for [ak]-level features and more mobility.

How does the Burton Reserve Insulated Jacket fit?
It's a regular fit that Burton describes as not too tight or too baggy, with room for a base or light mid layer underneath. Size from your chest measurement on Burton's men's chart; for example, a Large fits a 104–109cm chest. For reference, Burton's model is 185cm and wears a Large.
