The Burton [ak] Swash GORE-TEX 2L Men's Jacket 2027 is the insulated counterpart to the Cyclic. It has the same GORE-TEX 2L shell, full [ak] feature set and rider-wrapped fit, with 60g body-mapped PrimaLoft® Silver insulation built in. The insulation sits in the chest and kidneys, not the arms, so your core stays warm on the chairlift and you're less likely to overheat when you're working hard. True Black keeps it sleek and pairs with any pant or bib.

The windproof, waterproof GORE-TEX 2L shell is GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™, and Crossflow Venting™ with zippered side body vents dumps excess heat on hard laps. The StormForm hood, a RECCO® reflector, a goggle dump, an exterior-access phone pocket and a sleeve pocket with a detachable tethered scraper add up to the full [ak] mission kit. What's the difference between the [ak] Swash and the [ak] Cyclic Jacket?
The Swash is the insulated version of the Cyclic. Both use the same GORE-TEX 2L shell, full [ak] feature set and rider-wrapped fit, including Crossflow Venting™, a RECCO® reflector and a sleeve pocket with a scraper. The Swash adds 60g body-mapped PrimaLoft® Silver insulation in the chest and kidneys. Choose the Swash if you ride cold days or run cold, and the Cyclic if you prefer to build warmth with your own layers.

How warm is the [ak] Swash Jacket?
It's a lightly insulated jacket with warmth focused where you need it most. The 60g PrimaLoft® Silver insulation sits in the chest and kidneys only, so your core stays warm on the lift while your arms stay free to move and you're less likely to overheat. On very cold days, add a base layer or light mid layer. On warmer days, open the Crossflow Venting™ and side body vents to release heat.

How does the [ak] Swash Jacket fit?
It's a regular fit, not too tight and not too loose, with articulated patterning for movement and room for a light layer underneath.
