The Burton [ak] Swash Insulated GORE-TEX 2L Men's Pants 2027 are synthetic insulated 2-layer GORE-TEX snowboard pants built for performance in the backcountry. Low-profile 40g PrimaLoft® Silver insulation keeps you warm on the coldest lift rides and through the stormiest days without restricting movement. The GORE-TEX 2L shell is waterproof, windproof, breathable and GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™. True Black keeps it clean and pairs with any jacket.

The full [ak] feature set lets you dial in fit and feel to match the day. Crossflow Venting™, exterior thigh vents and a mesh-lined continuous inner thigh vent handle heat. Kick panels, a triple-stitched inseam, anti-scuff cuffs and water-resistant boot gaiters handle the abuse. Two zip thigh pockets, each with a beacon-friendly power mesh pocket, plus a zip back pocket with key loop and handwarmer pockets with an ATM pocket, keep everything secure for long days in harsh weather.

What's the difference between the [ak] Swash Insulated Pants and the [ak] Cyclic Pants?
The Swash Insulated Pants are the warmer, more heavily vented option. They add 40g PrimaLoft® Silver insulation, lifting Burton's warmth rating from 0.7/5 on the shell Cyclic to 2.15/5. They also add Crossflow Venting™ and exterior thigh vents, and a beacon pocket in both thigh pockets. Both have GORE-TEX 2L, a regular fit, kick panels, boot gaiters and Burton's 5/5 waterproofing and breathability ratings. Choose the Swash if you run cold or ride cold days, and the Cyclic if you prefer to layer your own warmth.

How warm are the [ak] Swash Insulated Pants?
Warm enough for most cold days with just thermals underneath. Burton rates their warmth at 2.15/5, with low-profile 40g PrimaLoft® Silver insulation that adds heat without bulk, and both waterproofing and breathability at the maximum 5/5. On warmer days or hard hikes, open the Crossflow Venting™ and thigh vents to release heat.

How do I choose my size for the [ak] Swash Insulated Pants?
Choose your size from your waist and hip measurements on Burton's men's size chart; for example, a Large fits an 89–94cm waist and 103–108cm hips. We stock them in Burton's Regular inseam, which suits a body inseam (inside leg) of around 83cm. For reference, Burton's model is 180cm and wears a Large.
