The Burton [ak] Kimmy GORE-TEX 3L Stretch Women's Jacket 2027 is a technical 3-layer GORE-TEX shell with built-in stretch, pit zips and a regular fit. When it's waist deep and dumping, there's no substitute. It was shaped with Burton team rider Kimmy Fasani, who knows what it takes to ride out a storm and what makes a great snowboard jacket. It feels light and mobile but is packed with backcountry tech to keep you warm, dry and focused. True Black keeps it sleek and pairs with any bib or pant in your kit.

GORE-TEX 3L is lighter than 2L GORE-TEX, and still waterproof, windproof, breathable and GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™. A brushed shell backer adds light warmth without bulk, and the 3-layer design is made for layering to match the conditions. What's the difference between the [ak] Kimmy 3L and the [ak] Cyclic 2L Women's Jacket?
The Kimmy is the lighter, stretchier 3-layer shell, built for backcountry and touring. Burton says GORE-TEX 3L is lighter than 2L GORE-TEX, and the Kimmy adds stretch fabrication, a brushed warm backer, pit zips and power mesh wrist gaiters. The 2027 Cyclic uses 2-layer GORE-TEX with Crossflow Venting™, side body vents and a sleeve pocket with a scraper. Both have a regular fit, a RECCO® reflector, Burton's 5/5 waterproofing and breathability ratings, and a Lifetime Warranty. Choose the Kimmy if you tour or ride deep storm days, and the Cyclic for all-round resort and side-country riding.

Is the [ak] Kimmy Jacket warm?
It's a shell, so most of your warmth comes from layers, but it's warmer than a typical 3L. A brushed shell backer adds light warmth without bulk. Burton rates its warmth at 0.7/5, and both waterproofing and breathability at the maximum 5/5. Add a base layer and a fleece or puffy mid layer on cold days, and open the pit zips on the climb.

How do I choose my size for the [ak] Kimmy Jacket?
Choose your size from your chest measurement using Burton's women's size chart. For example, a Small fits an 84–89cm chest, roughly an AU 8–10. It's a regular fit, not too tight and not too loose, with room for layering. For reference, Burton's model is 175cm and wears a Small.
