The Burton [ak] Hover GORE-TEX C-KNIT 3L Men's Jacket 2027 in Dried Moss is a lightweight, technical 3-layer shell for riders who split their days between the resort and the backcountry. What is GORE-TEX C-Knit?
It's a 3-layer GORE-TEX fabric with a soft knit backer on the inside. Burton says GORE-TEX 3L with a C-Knit backer is softer and lighter than regular GORE-TEX 3L while being just as durable, waterproof and breathable. On the Hover, that means a supple, stretchy shell that moves naturally and packs down small, with GORE-TEX's GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™ protection.

What's the difference between the [ak] Hover and the [ak] Cyclic Jacket?
The Hover is the lighter, more packable touring shell, and the Cyclic is the feature-heavy all-rounder. The Hover uses 3-layer GORE-TEX C-Knit (30D nylon) with stretch, pit zips and power mesh wrist gaiters. The 2027 Cyclic uses 2-layer GORE-TEX (70D nylon) with Crossflow Venting™, side body vents, a sleeve pocket with a scraper and a goggle dump. Both have a regular fit, a RECCO® reflector, Burton's 5/5 waterproofing and breathability ratings, and a Lifetime Warranty. Choose the Hover if you tour or carry your shell in a pack, and the Cyclic for resort-focused riding.

How does the [ak] Hover Jacket fit?
It's a regular fit, not too tight and not too loose, with room for layering plus articulated patterning and no-lift underarm gussets for movement. Size from your chest measurement on Burton's chart; for example, a Large fits a 104–109cm chest. For reference, Burton's model is 185cm and wears a Large.
