The Slappy ST1 Inverted Hollow Light Ultra Low Kingpin trucks in Polished at 8.25" are the top of the Slappy range — the configuration that solves the grind clearance problem once and for all. The inverted kingpin flips the conventional design so the threads sit inside the hanger rather than protruding above it, removing the snag point that causes hangups on slappy feebles, back smiths, hurricanes, and any trick that dips the hanger close to the surface. Paired with a hollow axle, hollow kingpin, shorter top bushing, and forged baseplate, the result is a truck that is lighter, stronger, and more grind-friendly than anything a conventional setup can offer. At 8.25", this is the size for decks from 8.0" to 8.25" — the sharper, more nimble end of the street range where flip tricks, quick turns, and technical precision matter most. Slappy Trucks was founded by Mike Sinclair — a veteran team manager who had spent decades behind the scenes at Nike SB, Foundation, and Toy Machine — during the COVID-19 pandemic.
