The Sandbox Classic 2.0 is the brand's signature style: minimal shape, patented vent system and that iconic brim. It suits park riders and all-mountain shredders who want proper protection with a look that fits snowboarding. This one comes in Dune with a soft-touch matte finish.
A tough ABS shell works with a vented, low-profile EPS liner. Stealth vents let air flow into channels in the liner, and the removable vented comfort liner, padded ear covers and goggle clip let you set it up your way. Multiple fit pad thicknesses give you plenty of ways to dial in the fit.

Size Guide
Wrap a soft tape around your head about 2cm above your eyebrows, over the widest point at the back. Measure twice and use the bigger number. If you're at the top of a size, try both with your goggles on.

About Sandbox
Sandbox started in Whistler, Canada, in 2004 as a snowboard film production company run by Kevin and Melle Sansalone. In 2007 they moved into making helmets, built around a rider's style as much as safety, and the brimmed Classic became the look that put Sandbox on heads in parks everywhere.
Vancouver's Endeavor Design, the crew behind Endeavor Snowboards, took over the brand in 2019, with Kevin staying on as an ambassador and in product development. Pro rider Devun Walsh joined the team in 2017 and has said Sandbox is his only choice for look and safety. The brimmed Classic is still the icon: a helmet that looks like it belongs in the park, not the ski school.

What certifications does the Sandbox Classic 2.0 have?
The snow edition Classic 2.0 is certified to CE EN 1077 Class B, the European standard for alpine skiers and snowboarders. It's a snow helmet; it doesn't carry a bike or skate standard.
What size Sandbox Classic 2.0 should I get?
Measure around your head about 2cm above your eyebrows and match it to the chart: S 52–54cm, M 55–57cm, L 58–61cm. If you're between sizes, try both with your goggles on; the included fit pads in different thicknesses let you fine-tune the fit.
Does the Sandbox Classic 2.0 have MIPS?
No, this version doesn't. If you want MIPS, Sandbox also makes the Classic 2.0 MIPS with the same brimmed shape and an added low-friction layer to help reduce rotational forces.
How do the fit pads work?
Sandbox includes fit pads in different thicknesses that attach inside the liner. Swap them around until the helmet sits level and snug without pressure points. It's a simple setup with nothing to break.
When should I replace my helmet?
Replace it after any significant impact, even if you can't see damage. The EPS foam liner crushes to absorb a hit and doesn't recover, so it won't protect you the same way twice. Also replace it if the shell is cracked, the liner is dented or the straps and buckle are worn.
