The Powell Peralta Neil Blender Pro Symmetrical Dragon Formula Wheels at 56mm x 40mm x 88A are built around one of the most original and influential minds skateboarding has ever produced. Neil Blender didn't just skate — he reshaped what skateboarding could look like, sound like, and mean, tilting the sport away from mainstream competition and toward art, spontaneity, and self-expression. His pro model wheel carries that same spirit: a wide A2 symmetrical shape with a generous 40mm contact patch, soft enough at 88A to absorb rough terrain and roll comfortably over everything in your path, and built on Dragon Formula urethane that brings far more performance to that softness than any conventional wheel at this hardness can offer.
The A2 shape is the widest symmetrical profile in the Dragon range — more contact patch underfoot for a planted, stable feel that suits cruising, transition, pools, and all-terrain skating where comfort and carry matter more than a narrow, snap-heavy profile. At 88A with Dragon Formula, rebound is 18–20% higher than conventional soft wheels, which means these roll faster, last longer, and slide more willingly than a standard 88A ever would. About Powell Peralta
Powell Peralta was founded in Santa Barbara, California in 1978 by Stacy Peralta and George Powell, and went on to become one of the most influential skateboard companies in history — the home of the Bones Brigade, a team that included Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Rodney Mullen, Lance Mountain, and Mike McGill. Neil Blender was one of the defining creative voices of 1980s skateboarding — a G&S pro, Powell Peralta video contributor, Hall of Fame inductee, and co-founder of Alien Workshop in 1990. Ranked 19th on Transworld's list of the 30 most influential skaters of all time, Blender invented numerous tricks, designed his own board graphics at a time when no one else did, and consistently pushed skateboarding toward art and away from competition.
