Asymmetrical shape. Dragon urethane. Ten years in the making.
The Powell Peralta Nano Rat Dragon Formula Wheels are not a normal skateboard wheel. The Nano-Rat shape puts both sides of the wheel to work — a familiar radial outer edge on one side, a lock-in radial inner edge on the other, with centre-set bearings that keep your ride balanced exactly as you'd expect. The result is a wider riding surface and a shape that sits halfway between Powell's Nano-Cubics and a traditional symmetrical wheel, giving you the performance benefits of the Dragon Formula with added stability and contact underfoot.
Dragon Formula itself is a decade-long R&D breakthrough from Powell Peralta. At 97A, these wheels are mid-hardness but engineered to perform like 99A and 101A wheels when you need to slide, while rolling over rough terrain that would stop a traditional hard wheel dead in its tracks. Rebound is 18–20% higher than conventional hard wheels, which means more speed in parks and bowls, smoother rolling on rough streets, and zero compromise on the snap, slides, and tricks you're already doing. This is the AV6 asymmetrical shape at 56mm x 36mm — versatile, fast, and genuinely unlike anything else in the wheel market.

About Powell Peralta
Powell Peralta was founded in Santa Barbara, California in 1978 by Stacy Peralta and George Powell, and went on to become one of the most influential skateboard companies in history — the home of the Bones Brigade, a team that included Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Rodney Mullen, Lance Mountain, and Mike McGill. While other brands have coasted on heritage, Powell Peralta has consistently invested in materials science and wheel technology, with Dragon Formula representing the most significant urethane innovation the brand has ever produced. Decades of racing and skating knowledge, compressed into a wheel that genuinely changes what terrain is skateable.
