Lacing is Nitro's TLS Twin Lacing System — two independently adjustable zones, tightened fast and locked securely through a compact, proven mechanism, with low-abrasion Dyneema® laces for lasting durability. Integrated handle storage pockets keep loose laces tidy, and the Bail Out System gives you clean, effortless release when you're done for the day. The Internal Lacing System (ILS) ties a lacing harness directly to the boot shell, wrapping snugly around the liner to lock it in place for precise, consistent fit with less friction, thanks to Dyneema®-cored ILS laces.

Inside is the Cloud 6 liner — a more flexible take on Nitro's 9 and 10 liners that keeps the classic Nitro fit, heel lock, and comfort while giving you extra board feel. What size should I order?
Nitro boots run true to size — order your standard men's US shoe size. Like all snowboard boots, the Venture Pro should feel noticeably snug out of the box: toes lightly brushing the front of the liner when standing upright, heel sitting down with minimal lift. That's correct — not too small. Once you bend your knees into a riding stance, your heel drops and toes pull back from the front of the liner, and the boot wraps your foot properly. A boot that feels comfortable standing in a shop will be sloppy on the mountain within an hour. If you're between sizes, the half size down is usually the right call. Do you offer professional boot fitting and heat moulding?
Yes — and it's free when you buy your boots from us. Come into the store at 435A Bridge Rd Richmond and our staff will fit you properly: checking shell fit, measuring your foot, and heat moulding your Cloud 6 liner to your exact foot shape on the spot. Heat moulding eliminates pressure points, locks in your heel, and means the boot feels dialled from run one rather than after a week of break-in. If you're not in Melbourne, we can walk you through the at-home heat moulding process by phone or message.

Is the Venture Pro right for me?
The Venture Pro is Nitro's true all-mountain boot — medium flex, comfortable, and durable enough for riders of most skill levels who want one boot that handles groomers, park laps, and everything in between without demanding too much break-in. TLS splits the boot into two independently adjustable lacing zones, tightened and locked through a compact, reliable mechanism — pull, click, done. It's paired with Nitro's ILS, which anchors the liner directly to the shell to eliminate heel slip and keep your fit consistent all day.

What if I get the wrong size or the fit isn't right?

Many apparent fit issues can be resolved through a heat mould or checking you're in the right standard/wide fit. If the boot genuinely isn't right for your foot, we'll swap it. Boots must be unworn outside — lodge floors and carpet only — and returned in original condition.
