Fat boy from 12 Boards

I absolutely love the bike and use it nearly everyday.
I’m 67 years old but it’s a bit like going back to having dirt bikes in the mid seventies! Also 12 boards was easy to deal with. A great shop.

Adding another to my collection, best layer for 1st or 2nd layer.

Bent Metal Transfer Men's Snowboard Binding 2026 | Red

Seriously Underrated

These bindings are seriously Underrated, and Bent Metal are now gonna be my go-to bindings for the next few seasons.

I've been riding for 3 decades, and most recently have had Burton Vita's and Cartels, Now's, Joneses, Union Ultras, Nitro Phantoms and Team Pros, Rome Katanas and other stuff I have lost track of.

These Bent Metals have the response and support of a stiffer binding, the dampening to rival my Nitro Phantoms (with that fancy air injected foam and airbag in the heel) and yet are better straps and dampening WITH control, than my Union Ultras - which now, I will be selling.

And they also allow me to move around on board, for when I want to get surfy carvy.

They were not wrong when they said you get dampening AND underfoot feel - with most bindings, you lose one as you gain the other.

You also get the mini disc for microscopic, millimetre perfect stance adjustment.

The straps are super comfy and conform nicely around my boot, crating no pressure points, and the dampening allows my clapped out feet to ride for just that little bit longer, compared to the rest of my binding quiver.

For anyone thinking of these as an outlier potential options to your standard Union Forces or Rome Katanas or Burton Cartels - these are better in many, many ways.

Take the risk, and get yourself a pair!

Great service from twelve board store, lots of communication and superfast delivery, first bracket board Iv had and i love it, nice and stable but with good turning, dad bod wheels are smooth and roll over anything and the blue wheels match nicely to the board for a neat looking outfit, very happy with the loaded board!

Exactly what i orderes

Awesome fit!

This helmet is AWESOME! The perfect fit, easy clasp, and fab colour have made my daily bike commute safe and more fun! There’s a risk buying equipment online however this has exceeded my hopes, PLUS the handy hole for sliding it onto the lock is a great design feature I didn’t;t know I needed. Wishing I had brought the magnetic light to go with it. Would def buy again.

Fatboy Bagus V2 Electric Bike

BMX Soul. Big-Torque Muscle. Built for Two.

The Fatboy Bagus V2 is the fat-tyre e-bike that started it all — and it's still one of the most characterful electric bikes you'll find anywhere in Australia. Where most e-bikes chase anonymity, the Bagus V2 leans hard into its BMX-influenced, retro-muscle identity. Compact 20-inch fat tyres, a long two-up saddle, and a posture that says more street cruiser than commuter tool. If you want an e-bike that gets looks at the traffic lights and genuinely earns them, this is it.

Under the attitude sits a serious drivetrain. The Bafang rear-hub motor runs on a 52V Samsung lithium-ion system delivering 500W continuous output, 1,560W peak controller power, and up to 100Nm of torque — enough pull to carry a passenger, climb a hill, and still feel effortless at cruising speed. The 20Ah battery is rated up to 100km per charge under ideal conditions, with a realistic mixed-city range of 40–70km depending on terrain, load, and how much you lean on the throttle. The battery is removable and lockable, so you can take it inside to charge without moving the whole bike.

Comfort hasn't been sacrificed for style. The V2 runs premium front suspension plus a rear adjustable mono-shock — uncommon at this price point and immediately noticeable on Melbourne's patchwork suburban roads. Stopping power comes from 203mm TEKTRO hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, and the Vee Rubber 20×4" puncture-resistant fat tyres give you a stable, planted feel across bitumen, gravel, and everything in between. The colour LCD display includes USB phone charging, trip data, odometer, range estimate, and a passcode lock — it's a complete package out of the box.

Why Ride the Fatboy Bagus V2?

✅ Bafang Rear-Hub Motor – 500W continuous, 1,560W peak, 100Nm torque — confident pull under load and with a passenger

✅ 52V 20Ah Samsung Battery – Up to 100km range per charge; removable and lockable for convenient indoor charging

✅ 20×4" Fat Tyres – Compact, BMX-inspired wheel size with maximum grip and stability across mixed urban terrain

✅ Front + Rear Suspension – Premium front fork and rear adjustable mono-shock absorb road impact that flat tyres can't handle

✅ 203mm TEKTRO Hydraulic Disc Brakes – Serious stopping power with progressive feel — not the mechanical discs found on cheaper bikes

✅ Long Two-Up Saddle – Rated to 180kg total load, designed for rider plus passenger where local regulations permit

✅ LCD Display with USB Charging – Trip data, range estimate, passcode lock, and a phone charging port built into the cockpit

✅ PAS 1–9 + Twist Throttle – Nine levels of pedal assist for fine-tuned control, plus throttle for private-property use

✅ Limited Drop – Original Fatboy fat-tyre model, extremely limited remaining stock

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Fatboy Bagus V2 legal to ride on Australian roads?

Yes — when operated in pedal-assist mode restricted to 25km/h, the Bagus V2 meets Australian EPAC requirements for public road use. The twist throttle is supplied with an isolator and must be disabled on public roads; it's for private property use only. Speed above 25km/h is also private property only. Always check your state's current e-bike regulations before riding on public roads — our team can walk you through this in detail on 03 9421 2293.

What's the real-world range I should expect?

The 100km figure is under optimal conditions — light rider, flat terrain, low assist, consistent speed. In real Melbourne mixed-use riding expect 40–70km. If you're riding with a passenger, using higher assist levels, or hitting hills, plan for the lower end of that range. For maximum distance: use PAS 1–2 on flat sections, keep tyre pressure at the recommended level, and minimise full-throttle starts. The removable battery means you can carry a spare charger or charge at your destination without hassle.

How does the V2 compare to the Bagus V3?

The V2 is the original Bagus — compact 20-inch wheels, BMX-influenced style, lighter at 38kg, and currently on limited clearance stock. The V3 is the updated flagship with larger 26-inch fat tyres, a 25Ah battery, rear cargo rack, passenger pegs, and 4-piston brakes — heavier and more premium. If you want the more characterful, lighter, BMX-style bike at a sharper price point, the V2 is the one. If you want the most capable, longest-range cruiser with maximum load-carrying ability, that's the V3. Both are on the floor in our Melbourne showroom — come in and ride them both.

About Fatboy Bikes
Fatboy Bikes was founded by two mates with one straightforward idea: riding should be fun, and it shouldn't be limited by where the road ends. While other e-bike brands leaned into technical jargon and corporate polish, Fatboy leaned into freedom, adventure, and the pure enjoyment of getting out and riding. That philosophy has made them one of Australia's most loved electric bike brands — bikes built for people who ride because they love it, with a lineup and community that reflects that energy from top to bottom.

About Fatboy Electric Bikes — Melbourne's Home of Fatboy

Fatboy was built by two Australian mates with a simple idea: have fun, get outdoors, reduce your carbon footprint and feel the breeze on your knees. Not a corporate e-bike brand. A genuinely fun, two-seater fat-tyre machine designed in Australia, built with premium components, and priced to make people wonder why they ever considered anything else. The Fatboy range at Twelve Board Store covers three model families across two generations, plus the mid-sized DNA, with multiple spec tiers within each:

Scrambler — the original Fatboy. Rugged step-over frame, cafe-racer inspired. Available in V2 (original spec) and V3. The V3 runs a 52V 20Ah Samsung battery with a Bafang 500W motor, dual suspension, 4-piston hydraulic brakes and Vee Rubber fat tyres. EN15194 certified variant available and legal Australia-wide.

Harlem — the step-through urban cruiser. Built for comfortable everyday riding and easy two-up capability. Available in V2 and V3. Same 52V 20Ah Samsung and Bafang 500W setup as the Scrambler V3, with dual suspension and up to 100km range. EN15194 certified variant available.

DNA — the mid-sized Fatboy. A more compact platform that sits between entry-level and the full-size models. Available in EN and Performance spec variants.

Bagus — Fatboy's flagship. V2 and V3 available. The Bagus V3 uses the FBX Power Platform — a unified battery, motor and controller ecosystem developed with Bafang for smoother, more consistent power across all nine assist levels. The Bagus V3 comes in three variants: EN (EN15194 certified, legal Australia-wide), Performance (52V 25Ah Samsung, extended range, FBX system), and Ultra (100Nm torque, UL2849 certified, legal to sell in NSW, the most capable Fatboy ever built).

Every Fatboy runs a 52V Bafang rear hub motor, Samsung lithium-ion battery, 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, Vee Rubber 20×4" fat tyres, dual suspension and an LCD display with USB charging. All models carry two-up capacity rated to 180kg. Twist throttle is included for private property use. Twelve Board Store is an authorised Fatboy dealer. Every bike is assembled, safety-checked and professionally tuned by our in-house tech team before it ships or gets picked up. We operate a full-service electric bike workshop for ongoing servicing, repairs and warranty. Demo rides available in-store at 435A Bridge Road Richmond.
