The Evolve Bamboo GTR Series 2 Street is the GTR set up for what it does best on clean ground — deep carves, big range, and locked-in speed on roads, bike paths, and urban terrain. With 97mm or 107mm urethane wheels fitted from the factory, the board sits lower, carves harder, and squeezes up to 50km of range per charge — nearly double what you get in All Terrain mode. If your riding is primarily on pavement and you want maximum range and carving response, this is the setup to start with.
The platform underneath is identical to the rest of the GTR Series 2 range: dual 3000W brushless sensored 6368 motors (6000W combined), 504Wh Samsung battery, Australian-designed Bluetooth FOC controller, and the 3-ply bamboo + 2-ply fibreglass deck that gives this board its natural flex and surf-like feel underfoot. Top speed is 38km/h. Hills up to 25%+ gradient. Three built-in ride modes — ECO, SPORT, and GTR — with full custom tuning via the Explore By Evolve App.
The swappable battery means you can carry a spare for back-to-back long rides or travel with the airline-friendly battery option. And if you want to add All Terrain capability later, the AT wheel kit is available separately — the Street board is fully compatible.

The Deck and Trucks
The deck is handmade from layered bamboo and fibreglass — flexible enough to absorb road chatter and carve with a soft, forgiving feel, with a segmented battery enclosure that protects the electronics through the full range of deck flex. Dual-finned CNC channels in the forged aluminium housing keep the motors cool under sustained load. Evolve Super Carve Trucks with adjustable drop-through wheelbase give you stability at speed and the ability to turn on a dime — double-barrel bushing design with compatible aftermarket bushings available to tune the feel further.

Can I add All Terrain wheels to the Street board later?
Yes — the GTR Series 2 Street is fully compatible with the Evolve AT Kit. You can add it later and swap between setups in a few minutes with the Y-tool. If you already know you want both, the 2-in-1 bundle is better value. If you're pavement-focused and want the upgrade path open, the Street board is the right starting point.
What's the difference between 97mm and 107mm street wheels?
The 107mm wheels are slightly larger — they roll over small cracks and debris more easily and give a marginally smoother ride on imperfect pavement. The 97mm wheels are lower and feel a touch more responsive and direct. Both are urethane, both carve well. Ask us in store if you're unsure — we can talk you through which suits your local terrain.
Can I take the GTR Series 2 on a plane?
The standard 504Wh battery exceeds most airline carry-on limits (typically 100Wh without approval, 160Wh with airline approval). Evolve offers a separate airline-friendly travel battery option — ask us about availability. Always confirm with your airline before travelling.
Is the GTR Series 2 suitable for beginners?
It's a high-performance board with serious power — ECO mode and app-adjustable curves make it approachable, but new riders should expect a learning curve. Start in ECO mode, dial back the acceleration curve in the app, and wear full safety gear. Demo rides are available 7 days a week at our Melbourne showroom.
How does the Bamboo GTR compare to the Carbon GTR Series 2?
Both share the same dual 3000W motors, 504Wh battery, FOC controller, and Phaze Remote. The difference is the deck: Bamboo uses a flexible bamboo + fibreglass composite for a softer, more forgiving ride with natural flex; Carbon uses a stiffer full-carbon deck for a more rigid, locked-in feel at speed. Bamboo suits riders who want a surfy, flexible carve; Carbon suits riders who want maximum stiffness and precision. Both are available to ride in our Melbourne showroom.
