The Real story

Real was founded in 1991 by Jim Thiebaud and Tommy Guerrero under San Francisco's Deluxe Distribution, the same house as Spitfire, Thunder and Krooked. From the start it was a skater-owned, skater-run brand built on authenticity, and it has stayed that way. The team, across generations from Dennis Busenitz to Ishod Wair, is among the most respected in skating, and Real has long backed progressive causes and grassroots skating. It is a brand with genuine substance behind the graphics.
