The details hold up under scrutiny. Underarm zippered vents with mesh dump heat fast on the hike up, while the removable powder skirt and three-way adjustable hood with cord lock keep things locked in for the descent. YKK PU-coated waterproof zips throughout, a goggle pocket with microfibre wipe, and roomy chest pockets round out a jacket built to handle whatever the day throws at it.
