Thousand Heritage 2.0 Skate & Bike Helmet | Stealth
Thousand's classic, rebuilt cooler and comfier for more heads.
The Heritage 2.0 is the next generation of Thousand's best-known helmet, keeping the vintage moto look with a smarter fit and better airflow. This one is in Stealth. It's made for skaters, commuters and e-bike riders who want one good-looking lid for every ride.
It's certified to the US CPSC bike standard and ASTM F1492 for skateboarding. More exterior vents feed internal cooling channels, and a new dial fit system with extra padding and a more inclusive head form fits more people comfortably. The magnetic buckle works one-handed, and there's a mount for an optional magnetic tail light.

Size Guide
Wrap a soft tape measure around your head about 2cm above your eyebrows, at the widest point. Thousand's chart is in inches; the cm figures are rounded conversions. Between sizes? Thousand recommends sizing down and using the dial to fine-tune.
| Size | Head circumference | Inches |
|---|---|---|
| S | 54–57cm | 21.25–22.5" |
| M | 57–59cm | 22.5–23.25" |
| L | 59–62cm | 23.25–24.25" |
The integrated dial tightens clockwise and loosens anticlockwise. Some or all of the interior fit pads can be removed for a roomier fit, which Thousand says doesn't affect safety.
About Thousand
Thousand was started by Gloria Hwang after a friend died in a bike accident. She hadn't been wearing a helmet herself because she didn't like any of them, so she set out to design one people actually want to wear. The name comes from the brand's mission to save 1,000 lives on wheels, a goal Thousand says it passed in 2023.
Today Thousand is known for its vintage moto-inspired Heritage helmets, the patented PopLock that lets you lock your helmet to your bike, and an accident replacement program for crashed helmets. Riders choose Thousand for helmets that look as good off the board as they protect on it.
FAQs
Can I use the Thousand Heritage 2.0 for skateboarding and bike riding?
Yes. Thousand certifies the Heritage 2.0 to the US CPSC bicycle standard, accepted in Australia for bike and e-bike riding, and to ASTM F1492 for skateboarding and roller skating. That's why it's sold as a skate and bike helmet.
What size Thousand Heritage 2.0 should I get?
Measure around your head about 2cm above your eyebrows at the widest point: S fits 54–57cm, M 57–59cm and L 59–62cm. Between sizes, Thousand recommends sizing down, then using the dial and removable pads to get it snug.
When should I replace my helmet?
Replace it after any significant impact, even if you can't see damage. The foam liner crushes to absorb a big hit and doesn't bounce back, so it won't protect you the same way twice. Also replace it if the shell is cracked, the foam is dented or the straps and buckle are worn. Thousand also runs an accident replacement program for helmets damaged in a crash; check current terms with Thousand.
What changed from the original Heritage?
Thousand added more exterior vents and internal cooling channels, a new fit system with more interior padding, and a more diverse head form so it fits more head shapes. It also gained a mount for a magnetic tail light. The look, PopLock and magnetic buckle carry over.
Does the Heritage 2.0 come with a tail light?
No. It's compatible with Thousand's magnetic tail light, which is sold separately. The light clips straight onto the back of the helmet for extra visibility at night.

Let customers speak for us
Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
