The Tech and What It Does on the Hill

✅ Dual BOA with H5 Coiler: two independent dials for the upper and lower zones. The H5 Coiler is new for 2027 and micro-adjusts in both directions, so you can fine tune on the chair
✅ Asym 3F: co-developed with BOA. Asymmetric lace guides sit over the flatter parts of your forefoot for even closure, fewer pressure points and better medial arch support
✅ External Heel Lock and Shell Harness: ankle wings and a shell-mounted harness pull your heel into the pocket for heel hold without an extra internal harness
✅ Silver Liner: heat-mouldable memory foam with a Custom Flex Zone at the toes and 8mm PE foam. Mould it in store or let it shape to your foot
✅ 3D Molded Tongue and 3D Molded Toe Box: asymmetric tongue shaped to your forefoot, and a seam-free toe box that is more water resistant and slips into bindings easily
✅ Articulating Flex Zone: the cuff connects asymmetrically to the lower shell so your ankle flexes naturally without the shell distorting
✅ Transition Zone: a smooth moulded join between outsole and upper that stops the heel catching on your binding heelcup
✅ 1:1 lasting and 3D Pro Insole: a dedicated shell, liner and footbed for every full and half size, with an anatomical insole for arch and heel support
✅ Ascent 2.0 outsole: new for 2027. Nidecker pairs grippy, cushioned rubber with an improved Transition Zone and stiffer heel rubber, so the heel slides cleanly into speed entry bindings

Australian days ask a lot of a boot: hard and icy at 9am at Thredbo or Hotham, soft and slushy by lunch at Buller. A mid-stiff boot with two independent BOA zones lets you crank the lower zone for edge hold on the firm stuff and ease the upper off when it softens up. The heat-mouldable liner makes long Japan or Canada days far more comfortable too.

Setup Tips from the Shop

Fit with one pair of thin snowboard socks. Stand tall and your toes should just brush the end, then pull back slightly when you bend your knees. Close the lower BOA zone first to snug the forefoot, then the upper to lock your heel. Back the upper dial off a few clicks on the chair. We fit boots for free in store and heat mould the Silver Liner on the spot.

Yes. The Silver Liner is heat-mouldable memory foam. We heat mould it for free when you buy the boots in store, or it will shape to your foot over the first few days.
