Grind King Rocketbolts Hardware | 1"
Self-locking hardware that stops loose trucks.
Grind King Rocketbolts are 1" mounting bolts built to fix a common problem: bolts that work loose and chew out your baseplates. They suit any standard skateboard setup without risers, and they make truck swaps easy.
Each Rocketbolt has a star-shaped head and vertical fins on the shaft that lock into the deck. The fins stop the bolt spinning and wobbling, so it pulls itself flush as you tighten the nut, protects your deck over time, and the flat head helps prevent over-tightening. You get 8 Rocketbolts and 8 lock nuts in a reusable tin with a sticker.

About Grind King
Grind King is a long-running skateboard truck brand that likes to rethink standard parts. Its Floating Axle trucks, released in 1992, were conceived for more speed and fewer blown bearings.
Today Grind King makes trucks for street and park skating, plus parts like Rocketbolts, its self-locking mounting hardware. Riders choose Grind King for parts that take a different approach to old problems, like trucks working loose.
FAQs
What length bolts do I need?
For a standard deck with no risers, 7/8" or 1" is right. Add 1/8" risers and go to 1.25". Bigger risers or thick decks need 1.5" or longer. You want the bolt to come through the nut fully without sticking out far past it.
Do I need a special tool?
No. A standard skate tool with a 3/8" socket handles the lock nuts, and the finned shaft grips the deck so the bolt resists spinning while you tighten.
How many bolts are in a pack? Is it enough for one board?
Yes. You get 8 Rocketbolts and 8 lock nuts, enough to mount two trucks to one deck.
Can I reuse Rocketbolts when I change decks?
Yes. They're designed to make truck removal easy, so you can pull your trucks off and remount them. Grind King also packs them in a reusable tin to keep them together.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
