Globe Prowler Mid Longboard Green Flames | 34"
Hills and the campus run, sorted. Flames optional but recommended.
The Prowler Mid is a shorter version of Globe's classic Prowler drop-through, with a wider tail and less taper for easier handling. At 34.75" it's a proper longboard that's still easy to carry onto a tram or under a desk. The Green Flames graphic gives it some hot-rod attitude. It suits teens and adults who want a stable first longboard for cruising, commuting and rolling down gentle hills.
The deck is Resin-8 hard rock maple: eight plies pressed with epoxy for a stiff, tough board. A rockered concave with a slight W drops your centre of gravity and locks your feet in, and the drop-through mount sits the deck low, so pushing and foot-braking take less effort. It rolls on 180mm Slant reverse kingpin trucks and soft 70mm 78a Globe Conical Cruiser wheels, so it carves smoothly and stays calm over rough patches.

About Globe
Globe is a Melbourne skate brand through and through. Brothers Peter, Stephen and Matt Hill grew up skating in Melbourne, and in 1985 they started importing skateboards out of Fitzroy, a business that became Hardcore Enterprises. The Globe brand itself was born in 1994, starting with skate shoes. The company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2001, moved into its Port Melbourne headquarters, and launched its own line of skateboards, cruisers and longboards in 2010.
Today Globe is still led by the Hill family, with Matt Hill as CEO, and still based in Port Melbourne. It makes its decks and trucks in its own factory. Its cruisers and longboards are known for epoxy-pressed Resin-7 and Resin-8 maple decks, soft Globe cruiser wheels and bold, art-led graphics, all set up as ready-to-ride completes. From the pocket-sized Blazer to the 40" Geminon Rock, it's a range built for real streets and everyday riders.
FAQs
What is the Globe Prowler Mid best for?
Cruising, carving and getting to school, uni or work. The low drop-through deck and soft 70mm wheels make it stable and easy to push, and the rockered W concave holds your feet on gentle hills. It isn't a trick board or a fast downhill setup.
Is a 34" longboard the right size for me?
It suits most teens and adults, and lighter riders who find full-size longboards a handful. The 25" wheelbase gives you longboard stability in a shorter, lighter package. If you're tall or want maximum stability for longer runs, look at the 37.5" Geminon or 40" Geminon Rock instead.
Is the Prowler Mid good for beginners?
Yes. The drop-through mount keeps the deck low, so it's easy to balance, push and foot-brake. The soft wheels forgive rough ground, and the rockered concave helps your feet stay put while you learn to carve.
What's the difference between drop-through and top-mount?
A drop-through board has its trucks mounted through cut-outs in the deck, so it sits lower than a top-mount. That lower ride height makes the Prowler Mid easier to push, steadier at speed and easier to foot-brake. A top-mount sits higher and feels more direct and carvy, but takes a little more effort to push.
Can I commute on the Prowler Mid?
Yes, it's a good commuter. The 70mm 78a wheels roll over cracked footpaths and road joins comfortably, and the low deck makes long pushes easier. At 34.75" it's also short enough to carry inside when you get there.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness suits you and go ride.
