Globe Kids Softie Micro Complete Skateboard Unravelled | 7.125"
A playful kitten, a ball of yarn and soft wheels. Globe's smallest complete, made for little rippers.
The Globe Kids Softie Micro Complete Skateboard in Unravelled at 7.125" features a cheeky cat chasing a ball of blue yarn across a yellow deck, finished with speckled black grip and turquoise wheels. Globe takes a modern deck shape and shrinks it to kid size, with a short 11" wheelbase that makes steering and balance far easier for small riders.
At 7.125" wide and just 25" long, it's sized for younger kids. Soft 51mm 83A Softie wheels roll over cracks and rough footpaths, while 4.25" Tensor alloy trucks with soft bushings turn easily under light riders. Recycled rubber grip gives a softer, more forgiving surface than standard sandpaper grip. Need a bigger size as they grow? About Globe
Globe was started in 1985 by the Hill brothers, three skaters who came up through Melbourne's underground skate scene and began by importing skateboards before building a brand of their own. Four decades on, Globe is still headquartered in Melbourne and is one of the best-known names in skateboarding worldwide.
Its kids' completes use the same Resin-7 hard rock maple found across Globe's skateboard range, scaled down so young riders start on proper gear rather than a toy.
FAQs
Who is a 7.125" skateboard best for?
A 7.125" deck is a micro size, and Globe designs the Softie Micro for kids around 6 to 8. The narrow width and short 25" length make it light and easy for small feet to push, steer and balance. Older kids around 9 to 13 usually step up to a mid (7.3" to 7.9"), and teens and adults generally ride a full size of 8.0" and up.
Is this a good skateboard for beginners?
Yes. It's made for first-time skaters: soft wheels smooth out rough ground, soft bushings make turning easy and the short wheelbase keeps everything manageable. It's a world away from toy-store boards, which use cheaper parts that make learning harder.
What can I ride this skateboard for?
Learning to push and balance, cruising footpaths, bike paths and the driveway, and first visits to the skatepark. The soft wheels make it especially good on rougher surfaces around the neighbourhood.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness to suit the rider and go skate.

Let customers speak for us
Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
