At the heart of the Scrambler V3 is a 52V BAFANG rear-hub motor rated at 500W continuous output, paired with a 52V 20Ah Samsung lithium-ion battery. The setup provides strong, predictable assistance for cruising, commuting, and carrying extra weight, with a public-road speed restriction of 25 km/h. Fatboy also tunes the controller for higher peak output and strong torque, giving the Scrambler its effortless pull under load and relaxed two-up cruising capability where permitted.
Comfort and control are central to the Scrambler’s design. Fully adjustable front and rear suspension smooth out rough roads, while wide fat tyres provide stability and grip. Stopping power comes from heavy-duty 4-piston hydraulic brakes with cooling fins and thick 203mm rotors, designed to remain consistent even when riding hard or carrying weight.
