Frequently Asked Questions
What does 273-3M mean?
It is the belt's sizing code. 273 is the belt length in millimetres and 3M is the tooth pitch, meaning 3 mm between each tooth. Both numbers have to match your drive system. A 3M belt will not run on a 5M pulley and vice versa, even if the length is close.
Will this fit my Summerboard?
This belt is sized for the SBX2. If you are running a different Summerboard model or a modified drive, measure the belt you are replacing or read the size printed on its back face before ordering. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 and we will work it out with you.
How do I know if my belt needs replacing?
Look for cracking between the teeth, fraying along the edges, missing or rounded teeth, or a belt that has gone glossy on the toothed face. Slipping under acceleration or a new whining noise from the drive are both signs it is on the way out. Replace belts in pairs on a dual-drive setup so both sides wear evenly.
Is this sold as a single belt or a pair?
Single. If you want to replace every belt on your board at once, add the quantity you need to your cart.
Can I fit it myself?
Yes. It is a straightforward job with basic tools once the motor mount tension is released. If you would rather not, bring the board into our Richmond workshop and we will fit it while you wait.

I've had my new Pint-S now for a week and put about 11 klms on it so far due to a fair bit of rain. The battery is now at 62% and top speed of 16kph as I find 12-15 very comfortable and have no intention of hurting myself any sooner than I have to.
The treaded tire gives more confidence for sure off of the pavement which I do about 50%.
I like the curved foot pads as I like a wide stance and my feet feel more planted than on the Pint. The Fender is also almost a must for me now that I see the difference of gravel and dirt not covering the footpads anymore.
Twelveboard store was very helpful and friendly with the purchase as well.
