Powell Peralta Flight | Andy Anderson Heron Egg Deck, Blue 8.7"
Andy Anderson's pro shape, drawn by Vernon Courtlandt Johnson in his signature style — a winged, horned skull rendered twice over in a mirrored design on a deep blue fade. The "Egg" name comes from the shape itself: a symmetrical, twin-tip profile that tapers slightly from 8.7" at the middle down to 8.5" at the trucks, giving it a distinctive rounded silhouette unlike a standard popsicle deck.
Underneath the artwork is Powell Peralta's Flight construction — an epoxy-infused, fibre-reinforced structure that's thinner and lighter than a standard 7-ply maple deck while being significantly more resistant to breaking. Combined with the stubbed, symmetrical nose and tail, it's a deck built for Anderson's genre-blurring style, equally at home carving a bowl or locking into a technical street trick.
