How should snowboard boots fit?

Snug but not painful, with your toes just brushing the end when standing and pulling back when you flex into your riding stance. Boots pack out (loosen) with use, so they should start firm. Heel hold is the key thing to check: your heel should stay locked down when you flex forward, not lift. This is exactly why we heat-mould every pair free, which moulds the liner to your foot for a better, more locked-in fit from day one.

DC boots come in a range of flex ratings, and the softer, more forgiving models are well suited to beginners learning the basics, while stiffer models give advanced riders more response and support.
