What is a complete skateboard?

A complete skateboard comes fully assembled and ready to roll out of the box. Rather than buying all the individual parts (deck, trucks, wheels, bearings, grip and hardware) and building it yourself, a complete arrives already put together, set up and ready to skate. It is the simplest way into skating, and for most people starting out it is the smartest way to buy.

Completes are genuinely great value, often cheaper than buying every component separately, and every single board is inspected, adjusted and checked by our team before it ships. That means trucks tightened correctly, wheels and bearings spinning true, and hardware done up properly, so it rides right from the first push. It is the difference between a board that works and one that fights you.

Who are completes for?

Everyone. We specialise in completes across the full size range, from little kids on their first board through to adults and the biggest kids at heart. Whether you are starting out, buying a gift, replacing an old setup, or getting back into skating after years off, a complete gets you rolling without needing to know every spec. If you already skate and know what you want, we can also build a custom setup, but for most people a quality complete is the right call.

What size complete skateboard should you get?

Deck width is the key measurement, and it roughly follows shoe size more than height or age:

• 6.75 to 7.375 inch — young kids, shoe size up to about 3.
• 7.5 to 7.75 inch — older kids, teens and smaller adults, shoe size 4 to 8. The most popular all-round beginner range.
• 7.75 to 8.0 inch — the adult all-round sweet spot, versatile across street and park, shoe size 8 to 10.
• 8.0 inch and up — more stable for transition, bowl and larger riders, shoe size 10 and above.

Completes from the brands that actually matter in skating — Globe, Enjoi, Birdhouse, Santa Cruz, Element, Deca, Push and more. Real skate-brand construction: properly pressed maple decks, genuine trucks, and wheels and bearings that roll and last. We stock these because they hold up and ride well, not because they are the cheapest.
