What was Boosted known for?

Boosted helped define the modern electric skateboard. Its boards were known for strong, responsive motors, a quality flex deck, a reliable remote and a genuinely fun, punchy ride that set the benchmark others chased. For a long time a Boosted was the electric skateboard enthusiasts wanted, and it built a passionate community around it.

Is Boosted still in business?

No. Boosted ceased operations in 2020, so the boards are no longer manufactured and new stock is limited to whatever remains available. We are honest about that: if you are after a current electric skateboard with full ongoing manufacturer support, brands like Evolve and Onewheel are the better buy today, and we are happy to point you to the right one. Can you still service a Boosted?

Where possible, yes. Frosty's in-house workshop can look at Boosted boards for servicing and repairs, though parts availability is limited given the brand has closed, so it depends on the issue and what we can source. Should you buy a Boosted now?

Only with eyes open.
