Frequently Asked Questions

It is genuinely different. Women's boards use flex patterns and sidecut geometry tuned for lighter riders, boots are built on a narrower lower-volume last, bindings run narrower heel cups, and outerwear is cut for a shorter torso and different hip-to-waist ratio. A men's item sized down keeps the wrong proportions and flex.

Boots first, then board, then bindings. Boots are the one thing that must fit your foot and they shape every other choice. If you are starting from nothing, talk to us first, since a short conversation about your height, weight, boot size and where you ride avoids the most common mistakes.

You can, and some riders do, but understand the trade. The flex and proportions are tuned for a heavier rider with different geometry, so unless you sit at the heavier end it will often feel stiff or ill-fitting. Ride quality and fit are worth more than a graphic.

Yes. Australian snow is wetter and heavier than the dry powder most online guides assume, so do not go too soft on a board and do not skimp on waterproofing. We ride Falls Creek, Mt Buller and Thredbo and spec against those conditions.

Yes. Every boot is heat moulded free in our Richmond workshop, which shapes the liner to your foot to remove pressure points and lock your heel in. There is no commission and no upsell pressure, and every boot is in stock to try before you buy.

That is exactly what we are here for. Call us on 03 9421 2293, message us, or come into the Richmond showroom. Tell us your height, weight, boot size and where you ride, and we will narrow the range to the few pieces that genuinely suit you rather than leaving you to guess.
