Orangatang Knuckle Bushings | Soft
Quick, energetic turning for carving, dancing and freestyle.
Orangatang Knuckles are a high-energy bushing upgrade for reverse kingpin longboard trucks, in soft (orange). They suit carving, pumping, dancing and freestyle riders from about 29 to 86+ kg.
Each truck gets an insert barrel board side and a gumdrop road side, poured in Orangatang's Randy Thane urethane. The small insert locks into the hanger for a quick, precise response, while the gumdrop lets the truck lean freely for smooth edge-to-edge transitions.
Key Features
- Insert barrel plus gumdrop: quick turn-in, smooth edge to edge
- Randy Thane urethane: high rebound, lively feel
- Cup washers included: large and small for a supported turn

About Orangatang
Orangatang was hatched in Southern California in 2008 as the sister wheel brand of Loaded Boards. The two still share a building and most of the same crew in Culver City: Loaded builds the boards, and Orangatang makes what they roll on.
Orangatang is known for its Happy Thane urethane, a smooth, fast, high-traction formula, poured into shapes for every kind of longboarding, from compact freeride wheels to 105mm giants for distance pushing and e-skate. Every wheel is listed with real numbers for width, contact patch, lip shape and bearing seat, so you can choose exactly the ride you want.
FAQs
What are Knuckles best for?
Carving, pumping, dancing and freestyle. The gumdrop lets the truck lean easily while the insert barrel keeps the response quick and precise.
Is soft the right hardness for me?
Orangatang rates soft Knuckles for about 29 to 86+ kg. Heavier riders or anyone wanting more support should look at medium.
Will they fit my trucks?
Most reverse kingpin longboard trucks, including Paris, Bear, Randal, Carver, Gullwing, Tracker, Caliber, Atlas, Aera, Rogue and Ronin. They don't fit traditional kingpin street trucks like Independent.
Can I change how they feel?
Yes. Swap the cup washers for flat washers for a looser, more linear turn, or run double barrels or double gumdrops.
How many do I need?
One pack does a full board, with bushings and washers for both trucks.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
