It's poured in Happy Thane, Orangatang's smooth, fast, high-traction urethane, with sharp lips and an offset bearing seat. The sharp edges keep the urethane planted through quick direction changes, and the offset core still lets it break into crisp slides when you need to. Contact patch and width are both 53mm, so there's plenty of rubber on the road.

What does 80a mean?
80a is Orangatang's all-rounder hardness. It balances grip and comfort with a bit more slide and speed than 77a, so it suits most riders on most surfaces.

Do I need risers for 70mm wheels?
On most drop-through and drop-deck longboards, no. On a topmount board, check clearance at full lean. Many setups run 70mm wheels with a 1/8" to 1/4" riser to avoid wheelbite, especially with loose trucks.

Are these centre-set or offset?
Offset. The bearing seat sits slightly toward the inside of the wheel, which keeps grip high and gives a smooth, controllable drift. Offset wheels can't be flipped for wear the way centre-set wheels can.

Do they come with bearings?
No, they're sold as wheels only. You'll need 8 standard 608 skate bearings for a set of 4, and on longboard wheels we recommend bearings with built-in spacers, or separate spacers, for a smoother, longer-lasting setup.
