Co-developed with and ridden by Hailey Langland, this is the women's version of Nitro's Alternator: a directional all-mountain freeride board built for groomers, powder, trees and natural features. Hailey's brief was simple: give women more float, response and manoeuvrability when they leave the piste.

Trüe Camber and a Powerlite poplar core with carbon tape deliver real pop and drive, while a 7/10 flex keeps it manageable at women's weights. The Reflex Core Profile and Dual Degressive sidecut make it easy to turn and forgiving in tight spots, the mid-wide width cuts drag, and the Sintered Speed Formula II base is Nitro's fastest.

FAQs

What size Alternator x Hailey should I ride?
Go by weight: the 146 suits riders up to 60kg, the 149 suits 45 to 65kg and the 152 suits riders from 55kg. For more float and speed in powder, size up within your range.

Is it only for women?
It's built and sized as a women's board, but the specs suit any lighter rider who wants a powerful directional freeride board.

Alternator x Hailey or Drop?
The Hailey is stiffer (7/10) with Trüe Camber, carbon tape and a Speed Formula II base, made for advanced freeride riding. The Drop is softer and more forgiving, better for progressing riders.

What bindings fit it?
Any standard 4-hole binding (2x4 or 4x4 disc) fits, plus Burton Re:Flex discs. Burton EST bindings won't mount, as they need Burton's Channel. Set your stance width inside the range Nitro lists for your size in the chart above.
