Girl Blammo Tyler Pacheco Skateboard Deck | 8.375"
Big Type. Bright Colours. Zero Subtlety.
The Blammo series is a Girl graphic pulled straight out of 2007 and put back into circulation. When the team was asked for graphic ideas, Rowan Davis pointed at this one — loud type, saturated colour, no cleverness required — and Girl brought it back across the current roster. This is Tyler Pacheco's, in yellow.
Pacheco is one of the sharpest technical skaters on the Girl team, and 8.375" is a considered width rather than a rounding of 8.5". It sits in the increasingly popular half-step between 8.25" and 8.5": enough platform to feel planted on landings and stable through transition, without the extra swing weight that makes a true 8.5" slower to flip. If you've been riding 8.25" and want a bit more board without giving up flip speed, this is the size that does it.
Construction is traditional 7-ply North American maple on Girl's G016 shape with OG concave — the medium, comfortable profile that Girl has been building for decades. Not the steepest concave on the market and deliberately so: it locks your feet without fatiguing them, and it's the reason so many skaters go back to Girl shapes after trying something more aggressive. Each deck gets an assorted top stain, so the veneer colour varies board to board.
Girl Skateboards was founded in 1993 by Rick Howard and Mike Carroll and has spent three decades near the centre of skateboarding — a team that's run from Koston and McCrank through to Pacheco, Bannerot and Geering, and a video catalogue that shaped how a couple of generations of skaters saw the sport.
Why Ride the Girl Blammo Tyler Pacheco?
• Tyler Pacheco Pro Model
A genuine pro board from one of the most technically gifted skaters on the Girl team, not a team-graphic filler deck.
• 8.375" Width
The half-step between 8.25" and 8.5" — more platform and stability than a 8.25" without the added swing weight of a true 8.5".
• G016 Shape
Girl's popsicle shape with a balanced nose and tail. Familiar, predictable, and dialled in over decades of team feedback.
• OG Concave
Girl's medium concave. Enough shape to lock your feet in for flip tricks, mellow enough to skate all day without your feet aching.
• Traditional 7-Ply North American Maple
Proven construction with proper pop and a consistent feel. No gimmicks, no composite layers you're paying extra for.
• Blammo Graphic — Revived from 2007
A reissued Girl classic in yellow. Big type, bright colour, and none of the restraint.
• Assorted Top Stain
Each deck comes with a randomly stained top veneer, so no two are quite the same.
• Free Jessup Grip
Every deck we sell comes with free Jessup griptape — the industry standard for consistent grit and reliable adhesion.

What width is right for me?
As a general guide: 7.5"–7.875" suits smaller riders or those focused on technical street skating. 8.0"–8.25" is the most popular all-round street and park size. 8.25"–8.5" suits riders who prefer a slightly bigger platform for stability. 8.5" and above works well for transition, bowls, and larger riders. Shoe size plays a role too — bigger feet generally prefer wider decks. Not sure? Call us on 03 9421 2293 or come into the Richmond store and we'll sort it out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why 8.375" and not just 8.25" or 8.5"?
A: It's a real difference, not marketing. An eighth of an inch changes how quickly a board flips and how it feels on landings more than you'd expect. 8.375" gives you noticeably more foot room and landing surface than 8.25" while still coming around fast on flip tricks — the reason a lot of street skaters have settled there. Run 149mm trucks on it.
Q: Will my deck look exactly like the photo?
A: The graphic will, but the top veneer won't. Girl runs an assorted top stain across the series, so the wood colour on the top of your deck is random and will differ from the product photo and from other decks in the same run. It's a deliberate part of the series, not a fault.

Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
