Introducing the ultimate snowboarding experience with the YES Pick Your Line (PYL) snowboard! Get ready to conquer the slopes like never before. Our revolutionary Tapered UnderBite technology combines the best of both worlds: the directional drive and effortless float of a tapered board, without compromising on edge hold or the ability to power through turns—a common drawback of most tapered boards. Unlike other boards, the PYL
maintains a more traditional width and length, providing stability and control that snowboarders crave. Crafted with our innovative wood core and natural dampening, this board elevates your performance to new heights, delivering a refined and unparalleled ride. Building on the rich heritage of the PYL, renowned designer Mark Kowalchuk has breathed new life into this iconic masterpiece. With enhanced features and an even stronger legacy, the PYL stands as a testament to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of
snowboarding innovation. Unleash your full potential on the mountain with the YES Pick Your Line snowboard where style, precision, and exhilaration meet.

SPECS

Terrian: All Mountain / Freeride

Board Shape:

Directional Volume Twin – As the lines between freeride and freestyle continue to erase, Yes. had to address the needs of those committed to riding twins but finding themselves in more pow. Symmetrical flex, centered stance, identical wide points of the board (therefore, NOT tapered), and identical shovel lengths but with a slightly lower volume tail.

Flex: 7/10

Camber Profile:

CamRock 1-4-2 – The response of camber with the floatability of rocker. Camber between your feet acts as a spring, keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns and allowing you to keep that edge hold longer. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more, allowing it to float.

Base:

Sintered True – True Sintered bases are harder and more expensive than extruded, and can be faster for those that ride aggressively.

Core:

Weightless Core – The Weightless Core strikes a critical balance between light weight and strength. Using a lower density species of Poplar in areas that are not as structured and Paulownia in the areas that are, Yes. was able to shave precious weight. This helps the board not only float, but "feel" floaty.

Triax Glass

Tapered Underbite:

Tapered UnderBite – Each side of the board’s effective edge is segmented into 3 distinct parts that step horizontally inward rather than tapering. Traditional “tapered boards” take the full sidecut and pull the tail inward, which is away from the arc of your turn – this is why they tend to wash out under hard carving. Tapered UnderBite corrects this by increasing the sidecut depth as you move towards the tail creating a corrective “hook” to the taper. The board blends into turns effortlessly, and has the directional drive and float you’d expect from a tapered board.

Other Features:

2 x 4 Insert Pattern

Lifetime Warranty

About Yes Snowboards

It all began back in 2008 when Romain de Marchi (RDM) was widely regarded as the most explosive snowboarder on the planet, having successfully mastered Chad's gap and introducing big freestyle tricks into the backcountry. Jan Petter Solberg (JPS) was also pushing the boundaries of freestyle in the backcountry, while David Carrier Porcheron (DCP) was busy exploring and discovering new hits and lines across the British Columbia backcountry. These three influential figures were revolutionizing the world of snowboarding, inspiring generations of riders to come. However, their reign at the top was cut short when the 2008 global financial crisis hit, leading to the dissolution of the UnInc program they had built, and subsequently losing their board sponsor. At the time, Obama was running for president with the famous slogan "YES WE CAN", and this message resonated with the trio as they proposed the idea of building a new snowboard brand. Despite facing discouragement and skepticism from others, they were determined to make it happen. They approached the Nidecker brothers and eventually produced their first boards, which were hand-painted with the phrase "YES WE CAN." Thus Yes. Snowboards were created.
