Wanna Wax Like a Pro? Let’s Talk Demon Tune Kits

Ever wanted to wax your own board? Tune your edges? Save yourself a trip to the shop and take full control of your setup? Then meet your new best mate: the Demon Complete Tune Kit. This thing is stacked with everything you need to keep your ride sharp, fast, and ready to drop in.

What’s in the Box

This kit isn’t a toy. It’s a legit setup we actually use in-store. Here’s what you get:

  • Wax Iron – Adjustable temperature, no hotspots, built for boards.

  • All-Temp Wax – Aussie conditions approved. Smells like a fresh session.

  • Edge Tuner – Hit 88° or 90° side edges like a surgeon.

  • Flat File & Stone – Clean up those burrs, sharpen edges, level repairs.

  • Wire Brush – Opens the base for deeper wax penetration.

  • Wax Scraper – Thick acrylic with no flex. Gets the job done right.

  • Buff Pad – Final polish = smooth glide.

  • P-Tex (Black & White) – Fill gouges, patch damage, clean finish.

  • Travel Case – Hardwearing and compact. Keep it all together.

Step-by-Step: How to Tune Your Board

1. Secure Your Setup

Lay your board flat on a bench or tuning stand. No wobble. Lock it in.

2. Clean That Base

Grab a base cleaner and wipe off all the old wax, dirt, and lift grime. Let it dry.

3. Repair Damage

See any core shots or deep scratches? Light the P-Tex stick, drip into the wound, let it cool, then file flush. Done.

4. Sharpen Your Edges

Use the edge tool with the file to dial in your edges. 88° if you like it aggressive, 90° for that surfy feel. Finish with the stone to smooth things out.

5. Brush the Base

Take the wire brush and stroke tip to tail. This roughs the base so wax sticks better. Trust us, it works.

6. Wax Time

Heat the iron, drip the wax in a zigzag, then iron it smooth—always moving. No burning the base, mate.

7. Cool Down & Scrape

Let it chill for 30+ minutes. Then scrape from nose to tail like you mean it. Get all the excess off.

8. Buff It Out

Final step—hit it with the pad to bring back that silky fast finish. You’ll feel it on the snow.

Why Bother?

Because tuning your own board is a game-changer. You’ll ride faster, save coin, and actually get to know your setup inside and out. Plus, there’s a certain satisfaction in knowing your board’s flying because of your own hands.

We use the Demon Kit in-store for staff boards and team rider gear. It’s not a gimmick. It’s the real deal.
