I've had my new Pint-S now for a week and put about 11 klms on it so far due to a fair bit of rain. The battery is now at 62% and top speed of 16kph as I find 12-15 very comfortable and have no intention of hurting myself any sooner than I have to.
The treaded tire gives more confidence for sure off of the pavement which I do about 50%.
I like the curved foot pads as I like a wide stance and my feet feel more planted than on the Pint. The Fender is also almost a must for me now that I see the difference of gravel and dirt not covering the footpads anymore.
Twelveboard store was very helpful and friendly with the purchase as well.

Jeremy Jones has been snowboarding since 1983. He started out racing, then switched to freeriding, and three decades of big lines and first descents around the world earned him Snowboarder Magazine's Big Mountain Rider of the Year eleven times.

In 2007 he founded Protect Our Winters, which brings the winter sports community together on climate change. Two years later he started Jones Snowboards in Truckee, California, to build the gear he wanted for his own riding with less impact on the mountains.

Jones is a member of 1% for the Planet and a supporter of Protect Our Winters.

3D CONTOUR BASEAND TRACTION TECH

Jones shapes a spoon bevel into the nose and tail of its boards, inspired by the rounded bottom of a surfboard. The edges at the tips lift away from the snow, so turns start with less drag, the board glides better and it floats more easily in soft snow.

Traction Tech adds raised bumps along each edge. On boards like the Flagship and Stratos there are three per edge, at the front binding, the centre and the back binding, with a bigger bump in the middle for extra grip and control.

Boards like the Flagship, Stratos and Mind Expander 2.0 also run ampliTex carbon/flax stringers, developed with Swiss firm Bcomp, for pop and vibration damping.

Jones Re-Up gives dead snowboards a second ride. Old boards of any brand have their steel edges and inserts removed, then get pressed into a 24 layer sandwich and sliced into stringers for the wood cores of new Jones boards.

We're a Jones Re-Up drop-off point. Bring your old board into our Richmond shop, any brand, as long as it's in one piece with a wood core. Splitboards aren't accepted yet.

What size Jones board do I need?
Start with your weight and boot size, then think about where you ride. Our Jones size charts cover the range, and we're happy to size you up in store or over the phone.
What is 3D Contour Base?
It's the spoon shaped bevel Jones builds into the nose and tail. The edges lift away from the snow there, so the board glides, turns and floats more easily.
Do Jones FASE bindings need special boots?
No. Jones says FASE works with any snowboard boot. If you're not sure about your board, ask us and we'll check before you buy.
Can I drop off my old board for Re-Up?
Yes. We're a Jones Re-Up drop-off point. Any brand is fine, as long as the board is in one piece with a wood core. Splitboards aren't accepted yet.
Can I pick up in store or return it?
Yes, you can pick up from our Richmond showroom. For returns and exchanges, everything you need is in our returns policy.
