Orangatang Caguama Wheels | 77a
Big 85mm roll for distance pushing, commuting and e-skate.
The Caguama is Orangatang's big, beautiful 85mm wheel for riders who want to cover ground. It carries momentum, rolls over cracks and rough roads, and makes long pushes feel easy. It suits commuters, distance pushers, pumpers and electric longboards. This set is the 77a durometer.
It's poured in Happy Thane with rounded lips and an offset bearing seat, on a high-strength, high-stiffness, heat-resistant urethane core. The 58.5mm width and 56mm contact patch give lots of grip and stability, while the rounded lips and offset core balance grip with a smooth, predictable release. Expect a smooth, cushioned, fast ride.

About Orangatang
Orangatang was hatched in Southern California in 2008 as the sister wheel brand of Loaded Boards. The two still share a building and most of the same crew in Culver City: Loaded builds the boards, and Orangatang makes what they roll on.
Orangatang is known for its Happy Thane urethane, a smooth, fast, high-traction formula, poured into shapes for every kind of longboarding, from compact freeride wheels to 105mm giants for distance pushing and e-skate. Every wheel is listed with real numbers for width, contact patch, lip shape and bearing seat, so you can choose exactly the ride you want.
FAQs
What are Orangatang Caguama wheels best for?
Covering distance. The 85mm size rolls fast and smooths out rough roads, so they're ideal for commuting, long pushes, pumping and electric longboards. They also carve well thanks to the wide contact patch.
What does 77a mean?
77a is the softest Orangatang durometer. It gives the most grip and the smoothest, quietest roll over rough ground, but it slides less easily and wears a little faster. Great for lighter riders, rough roads and maximum hook-up.
Do I need risers for 85mm wheels?
Usually, unless your board was built for big wheels. Drop-through boards with deep wheel cut-outs and many e-skate decks can take 85mm without risers. On a topmount board, expect to need a tall riser and check clearance at full lean before you ride.
Will Caguamas fit my trucks?
Yes, they use standard 608 bearings and fit any standard 8mm skateboard axle. Check that your board has clearance for the 85mm size, and that your trucks are wide enough to stop the wheels touching the deck in turns.
Do they come with bearings?
No, they're sold as wheels only. You'll need 8 standard 608 skate bearings for a set of 4, and on longboard wheels we recommend bearings with built-in spacers, or separate spacers, for a smoother, longer-lasting setup.

Let customers speak for us
Why Buy from Twelve Board Store
Twelve Board Store has been riders selling to riders since 2013. We are not a generic retail chain — we are a specialist board sports retailer built around genuine product knowledge, real rider experience and the kind of after-sales support that only comes from a team that actually uses the gear they sell.
Every brand we stock, we ride. Every recommendation we make comes from real experience — on the mountain, in the park, on the street, and on the road. When you call us, you talk to someone who has been on a snowboard at Hotham last weekend or a skateboard in the carpark this morning. That is the difference between buying from Twelve and buying from a warehouse with a website.
We offer services that no online-only retailer can match. Our in-store workshop handles snowboard waxing and tuning, boot heat moulding, electric skateboard and e-bike repairs and assembly, and warranty support handled in-house rather than shipped offshore to a call centre. If something goes wrong with your gear, we fix it. If your boots don't fit, we sort it. If you ordered the wrong size, we swap it — no questions asked.
Our showroom at 435A Bridge Road Richmond stocks the full range across snowboards, bindings, boots, skateboards, longboards, electric skateboards, e-bikes, outerwear and accessories. We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $89, AfterPay and Zip for flexible payment, and fast dispatch so your gear arrives when you need it.
Over a decade in business. More than 1,000 reviews. The most trusted specialist board store in Melbourne. If you need advice before you buy, call us on 03 9421 2293, visit us in-store, or contact us online — we'll get you sorted.
