Globe Geminon Reflection Longboard | 37.5"
Symmetrical, low and steady. Ready for the hills.
The Globe Geminon is a symmetrical drop-through longboard for cruising, rolling down slopes and learning the basics of downhill. Both ends are the same, so there's no wrong way to stand on it. The Reflection version features art by Jamie Browne and a bamboo and maple build. It suits teens and adults who want a stable, confidence-building longboard.
The deck combines bamboo and hard rock maple with a slight side-to-side concave and cutaways for wheel clearance. Drop-through mounting sets the deck low between 180mm Slant reverse kingpin trucks, so it feels planted and is easy to push and foot-brake. Soft 70mm 78a Globe Soft Core wheels grip well and smooth out rough surfaces.

About Globe
Globe is a Melbourne skate brand through and through. Brothers Peter, Stephen and Matt Hill grew up skating in Melbourne, and in 1985 they started importing skateboards out of Fitzroy, a business that became Hardcore Enterprises. The Globe brand itself was born in 1994, starting with skate shoes. The company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2001, moved into its Port Melbourne headquarters, and launched its own line of skateboards, cruisers and longboards in 2010.
Today Globe is still led by the Hill family, with Matt Hill as CEO, and still based in Port Melbourne. It makes its decks and trucks in its own factory. Its cruisers and longboards are known for epoxy-pressed Resin-7 and Resin-8 maple decks, soft Globe cruiser wheels and bold, art-led graphics, all set up as ready-to-ride completes. From the pocket-sized Blazer to the 40" Geminon Rock, it's a range built for real streets and everyday riders.
FAQs
What is the Globe Geminon best for?
Cruising, rolling down slopes and getting into downhill. The low drop-through deck and long 28.25" wheelbase keep it stable as speeds build, and the soft 70mm wheels grip well. It also makes a comfortable commuter.
Is a 37.5" longboard the right size for me?
It suits most teens and adults. At 10" wide it's very roomy, which is great for bigger feet and a stable stance. For a shorter, easier-to-carry board try the 34" Prowler Mid; for a longer board with a bigger wheelbase, the 40" Geminon Rock.
Is the Geminon good for beginners?
Yes. It's a very easy board to learn on. The drop-through deck sits low for balance and easy foot-braking, the wide deck feels secure, and the symmetrical shape means you don't need to worry about which end is the front.
What's the difference between drop-through and top-mount?
On a drop-through like the Geminon, the trucks mount through cutouts in the deck, so it rides lower to the ground. That makes it easier to push, more stable at speed and easier to foot-brake. A top-mount sits higher on the trucks and feels more responsive in turns, but it's less planted at speed.
Can I commute on the Geminon?
Yes. The 70mm 78a wheels roll comfortably over cracked footpaths and road joins, and the low deck makes longer pushes easy. It's a full-size board, so it's a bit bulkier to carry than a cruiser.
Does it come ready to ride?
Yes. It arrives fully assembled with griptape, trucks, wheels and bearings installed. Just check the truck tightness suits you and go ride.
